Zendaya is proving once again that everything she touches turns to gold—or in this case, “Fig” colored sneakers.
The Challengers star is officially sending the internet into a frenzy with the release of her first-ever co-created footwear and apparel collection with Swiss sportswear brand On. While the actress has been the face of the brand for a while, the SS Zendaya x On drop marks a massive milestone in their multi-year partnership.
Available to shop starting April , the collection isn’t just a basic collaboration; it’s a full-on cinematic event. To celebrate the launch, the duo tapped Academy Award winner Spike Jonze to direct a whimsical short film titled Shape of Dreams.
In the film, fans are invited into Zendaya’s “Dream Lab,” an imaginative world where the creative process comes to life. It’s clearly a hit with the Beyhive and Z-Slayers alike—since its debut just six days ago, the video has already racked up nearly million views on YouTube.
Naturally, Zendaya didn’t do this alone. She teamed up with her longtime collaborator and “Image Architect,” Law Roach, to ensure every piece in the head-to-toe capsule was “slay-ready.”
The star of the show? The Cloudnova Moon. Retailing for $, the sneaker is a direct nod to the “balletcore” trend that has been dominating TikTok and Instagram feeds for months. Reimagining the classic On silhouette, the shoe features an elastic strap and velcro fastening that mimics the look of a traditional ballet slipper.
“We wanted to create pieces that feel versatile and easy to wear – styles that move with you across different moments,” Zendaya shared in a statement about the launch.
The actress, known for her effortless style both on and off the red carpet, explained that the goal was all about comfort. “We started with the idea of making people feel confident and effortless, and we built everything out from there. Working with Spike Jonze brought that vision to life in a really special way – the world he created gave it a whole new dimension.”
Social media users are already losing it over the “Fig” colorway, with one fan on X writing, “Zendaya really said: I’m going to make you want to go to the gym in a tutu and I’m here for it.” Another TikTok creator joked, “My bank account was not ready for Zendaya x On to go this hard.”
The collection builds upon the success of the Cloudzone Moon, which the duo launched back in August . This time around, however, the range is much more expansive. Fans can snag everything from breezy tops and jackets to fashion-forward skirts, shorts, and the ultimate cool-girl staple: parachute pants.
Whether you’re actually planning to hit the pavement or just want to look like you’re heading to a high-fashion rehearsal, this collection has you covered.
The Zendaya x On limited-edition collection is available at on.com and select retailers worldwide starting today. If history is any indication, these “balletcore” beauties won’t stay on the shelves for long!
