While these claims spark fresh debate about what actually went down in Selena Gomez and Nicola Peltz’s friendship, it’s worth noting that the X handle to make these claims is actually a parody account. Additionally, they did not offer any sources for their accusations either, so these reports are practically unsubstantiated and shouldn’t be believed right away.

However, there’s more to this story. Recently, a source claimed to Entertainment Tonight that Gomez, Peltz, and Beckham have since fallen out. The source also cited their having drifted away as the reason why the latter couple wasn’t seen at Gomez’s wedding with Benny Blanco earlier this month.
This source claimed that the friends “grew apart a while ago and haven’t been close for quite some time,” adding,
They all had fun together for a while, but the friendship eventually faded. They were very immersed in each other’s lives, and it became hard for everyone to maintain… Brooklyn and Nicola weren’t invited to Selena’s wedding, and didn’t expect to be.
For those who may not know, this trio initially connected at the Academy Museum Gala back in October 2022 and quickly became close friends. In the months that followed, they went on vacations, celebrated holidays, and even got matching tattoos together (check out this Instagram post from Gomez from January 2023)!

However, when fans noticed that Gomez was not in attendance at the Beckham couple’s vow renewal in August this year, nor were Peltz and Beckham present at her recent star-studded wedding, speculation started brewing up of a potential rift between the trio. Still, these are all reports and claims, and nothing can be said for sure for now about this matter.
A Source Previously Refuted Claims of Feud Between the Trio
While these latest reports are fueling rumors of bad blood between Selena Gomez, Nicola Peltz, and Brooklyn Beckham, just two weeks ago, an exclusive source claimed to PEOPLE that all those reports of a feud between the trio were untrue. Rather, they had only grown apart, as people usually do in most relationships and friendships.
Refuting a claim that The Heart Wants What it Wants singer was “betrayed” and cut off by the couple, as well as explaining why the pair wasn’t present at the Blanco-Gomez nuptials, the source said to the outlet,
There’s no bad blood. Relationships evolve, and it’s true they’re not as close as they once were, but there wasn’t any one thing that happened. There’s nothing but love and well wishes from them for Selena and Benny.
With this being put out there too, it certainly serves as a potential explanation of what could have actually happened between Gomez, Peltz, and Beckham. Of course, their friendship must have evolved, and the trio must have grown apart, with the closeness between them decreasing and each valuing their own respective privacy more, and their relationship changed over time.
At the same time, it’s also worth remembering that all of these are nothing more than just reports, insider claims, and speculations. As of this writing, neither of the three involved in this alleged drama has made any public claims about their having drifted apart, or even addressed the potential bad blood between them that was so widely speculated.
Thus, it would be better not to believe all these claims and reports and everything you read on the internet right away until official confirmation from the respective celebrities or their representatives is released, or more reliable sources report on the matter.

Unfortunately enough, Selena Gomez is pretty much the first celebrity to gain immediate fire as soon as some outrageous claims or reports pop up on the internet. This time around, the situation is no different, as people are simply going ahead to believe the allegations against her made without any substantiated sources, embroiling her in backlash once again.
In their reactions to these latest claims against the billionaire pop singer, netizens are calling out Gomez for multiple things, including abusing her borrowed kidney by not taking good care of her health and choosing to vape and smoke despite her condition; allegedly stealing her friends’ partners; and even accusations of not already being over from her old relationships.

Of course, some of the Selenators dived right in to jump to their idol’s defense as well, arguing that these unreliable and baseless claims aren’t enough to take down their girl, who has gone through much more and much worse.
