She’s set to perform as the musical guest on this week’s Saturday Night Live episode.
After rehearsals for the iconic sketch series in New York City on Thursday evening, Katy Perry emerged looking every inch the pop star.
The 37-year-old “Teenage Dream” hitmaker flaunted her figure in a snug burgundy vinyl ensemble comprising a criss-cross top and flared pants.
Adding a touch of glamour, she draped a plush black fur coat over her shoulders, reaching just past her knees.
Completing her chic ensemble were black pointed-toe boots. Katy, who recently returned to her natural black hair after sporting bleach blonde locks for years, styled her long curls in loose waves cascading down her back and chest.
Enhancing her striking features, she opted for earthy brown eyeshadows, voluminous faux lashes, and a matte berry lip color, complemented by bronzer and blush.
Accessorizing with silver hoop earrings and chunky rings, Katy was accompanied by security guards and her longtime manager Bradford Cobb as she left the venue.
Upon exiting, she was greeted by enthusiastic fans, some with posters and albums for her to sign. Adhering to CĐľVID-19 protocols, Katy donned a mask before interacting with fans, even sharing a fist bump with a young supporter.
It was revealed earlier in the month that Katy would be featured on this weekend’s SNL episode alongside host Willem Dafoe. She announced the news on Instagram, teasing a taste of her Las Vegas residency, “Play,” which features a 19-song setlist of her hits and extravagant stage designs.
Recently, Katy announced 16 additional shows for her residency, scheduled between March and August this year, in response to popular demand. Tickets for the new dates will go on sale on January 29 via Ticketmaster.
When not commanding the stage, Katy dedicates her time to her one-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove, whom she shares with fiancé Orlando Bloom.
