Vince Vaughn is officially bringing his “Vegas, baby, Vegas” energy to the biggest stage in the world. The comedy icon has spent decades as one of Hollywood’s most recognizable faces, but he has famously stayed away from the Super Bowl commercial hype—until now.
Stepping out for the final season premiere of ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ on Tuesday, Vaughn got candid about why he finally decided to say yes to the Big Game. The actor is starring in a star-studded ad for the gambling app BetMGM, and he brought some very famous friends along for the ride.
“I’ve been offered Super Bowl ads in the past… but this just really made sense,” Vaughn explained. “I love Las Vegas, obviously, and MGM. That felt like a good fit.”
Working With The GOATs
The viral spot features Vaughn alongside NFL legend Tom Brady and hockey icon Wayne Gretzky. In a hilarious twist that has already sparked plenty of social media chatter, the ad claims that while anyone can use the app, Brady is banned because he has already “won enough.”
While the world knows Tom Brady as a fierce competitor, Vaughn says the retired quarterback was a natural on set. “Tom is super easy and he’s funny, same with Wayne,” Vaughn shared. “They were easy to be around.”
Fans on X (formerly Twitter) are already obsessed with the pairing, especially the shots of Vaughn grabbing dinner with Gretzky. It is a full-circle moment for the actor, who has been synonymous with the Las Vegas lifestyle since his breakout role in the classic ‘Swingers.’
Rooting For Love
Of course, you can’t talk about the Super Bowl this year without mentioning the most talked-about couple in the world: Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. When asked about the upcoming game between the San Francisco ers and the Kansas City Chiefs, Vaughn admitted he doesn’t have a horse in the race, but he definitely has a favorite couple.
“You have to root for love. You’re not a hater, come on,” Vaughn joked when asked about the pop star and the tight end.
The actor even confirmed his own status in the fandom, officially declaring himself a Swiftie. “Yes, I enjoy her music very much and Kelce, he likes to get out there and make a catch,” he said with a smile. “Good for those two.”
Back In The Vegas Groove
Vince’s partnership with BetMGM is just the latest move in his ongoing love affair with Nevada. Not only did he become the face of Caesars iGaming platforms in , but he is also set to star as a struggling Las Vegas entertainer in the upcoming indie film ‘Easy Waltz.’
For fans who can’t get enough of the “Vegas” vibes, the corresponding BetMGM Big Game Bash at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas—headlined by Luke Combs—promises to keep the party going long after the commercial airs.
With a viral ad, a new movie on the way, and a “Swiftie” badge of honor, Vince Vaughn is proving that he is still the king of the strip.
