While Swift appeared to support her fiancé, Travis Kelce, Mahomes was there for her significant other, Patrick Mahomes. As the Chiefs took on the Washington Commanders, we saw Swift and Mahomes excitedly cheer for the team.
It almost appears that Swift may have replaced her celebrity best friend, Blake Lively, with Mahomes. The Fate of Ophelia singer and Mahomes were first spotted hanging out together in public on September 30, 2023, during a girls’ night out with Lively and Sophie Turner.
The two seemed to enjoy each other’s company, and they have even reportedly developed a secret handshake, inspired by Annie and Hallie in The Parent Trap. In the last season, they appeared together in the celebrity box with other celebrities like Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Sabrina Carpenter, and Antoni Porowski.
In her latest appearance, Swift wore a $550 red Courrèges sweater and a $650 red Courrèges skirt (via PEOPLE). Mahomes also wore a red jacket with her husband’s jersey number on it and a baggy red pants. She could be seen hugging Mahomes while celebrating the Chiefs’ scoring a point.

The game swayed in the Chiefs’ favor, with the final score reading 28-7. Kelce scored a touchdown during which Swift erupted in celebration with Mahomes.
How Did Travis Kelce Support Blake Lively After a Fight With Taylor Swift?
Taylor Swift was dragged into Blake Lively’s legal mess with Justin Baldoni. It was alleged that Swift was involved in the creative side of their film, It Ends With Us. Swift’s reps claimed that she never set foot on the set of the movie (via E! News). However, she allegedly agreed to be deposed by Baldoni’s team in the case.
The case allegedly strained the relationship between Swift and Lively. A source close to Swift told Daily Mail that she distanced herself from Lively after recognizing all the “red flags” in the relationship. Fans were convinced about tensions between them when Lively didn’t react to Swift’s engagement post.
However, she recently liked Swift’s post about the release of her new album, making fans a little confused about their current relationship. Amidst these discussions, Travis Kelce’s one action has pushed fans to believe that things are okay between Swift and Lively.
He re-released one of his old New Heights podcast episodes, where he gushingly talked about Lively’s film, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, as part of the podcast’s Film Club series (via EW). He called Lively a “friend” in the episode and praised her performance in the film. He shared:

Taylor Swift Continues to Show Support for Fiancé Travis Kelce at Chiefs’ Games
Taylor Swift’s appearance alongside Brittany Mahomes at the Chiefs vs Commanders game was her third consecutive public appearance to support Kelce after their engagement. She previously appeared at the Chiefs vs Detroit Lions game on October 12, where she was seen with Donna and Ed Kelce, Travis’s parents (via PEOPLE).
Caitlin Clark, the famous name in WNBA, also appeared alongside Swift during this game. On October 19, she appeared in the VIP suite to support Kelce during the Chiefs’ game against the Las Vegas Raiders. In all these games, she showed off her engagement ring, designed by Kelce.
She also supported two of the Chiefs’ games in September in private, ahead of the release of her new album, The Life of a Showgirl. She is expected to appear at more Chiefs’ games, and she is once again turning into a lucky charm for the team.
