A bizarre dining drama has hit Floridawhere a woman claiming to be Eminem’s wife was arrested after skipping a $27.55 dinner bill. According to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office (per Radar Online), Jennifer Kleber, 54, refused to pay for a soda, two entrées, and a chocolate milk at Darrell’s Dog Gone Good Diner in Silver Springs, declaring that her “husband,” Marshall Mathers (aka Eminem), would cover the meal because “he has unlimited money.”
The staff alleged Kleber “appeared to be drunk or on drugs.” As she was handcuffed, she doubled down, claiming the star had paid her bill before. Diner server Charlie Hazens told RadarOnline:
We kind of figured it was a crazy person because we always have crazy people come up here all the time. So it wasn’t like shocking, but it was funny.
Hazens added that Kleber had walked out of another branch days earlier without paying, though that time she hadn’t mentioned her famous “spouse”. Now banned from both restaurants and charged with trespassing, Kleber’s short-lived fantasy ended behind bars. “Everybody says they come in for lunch and a show,” Hazens quipped, calling the diner’s next-door motel “sketchy.”
