Before SKIMS, Kylie Cosmetics, and the Lemme gummies, the Kardashian sisters, Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe Kardashian ran their own fashion boutique brand called DASH.
Launched in 2006, a year before Keeping Up With the Kardashians debuted their brand in Calabasas, which quickly became a reflection of the sisters’ early style and business ambition. DASH’s popularity grew fast, leading to additional locations in Los Angeles, Miami, and New York.
It even inspired its own reality spin-off, DASH Dolls, which showcased the boutique’s staff and behind-the-scenes drama. The sisters often used Keeping Up With the Kardashians to highlight DASH, making it a central hub for their on-screen business ventures.
However, the rise of their individual brands and growing media empires made it difficult to keep the boutiques running. And the sisters closed all stores in 2018, as per TMZ. Kim announced the closure with a heartfelt message thanking their employees and loyal fans, marking the end of an era for the Kardashian family’s first major business venture.
Why Kim, Kourtney & Khloe Kardashian Closed DASH?
Announcing the closing of DASH stores, Kim Kardashian also released a statement, revealing the reason that she and her sisters, Kourtney Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian, decided to close the store line.




In a statement shared on her website, she said, as per The Hollywood Reporter,
From opening locations in Los Angeles, Miami and New York, to having our Dash Dolls spin-off show, it’s been such a huge part of our lives. We’ve loved running DASH, but in the last few years, we’ve all grown so much individually.
She continued, “We’ve been busy running our own brands, as well as being moms and balancing work with our families. We know in our hearts that it’s time to move on.”
The SKIMS founder also expressed gratitude to the store’s employees, fans, and customers who supported DASH over the years. “We have to give a special thanks to the DASH employees and all of the incredible fans and customers who have supported us throughout the years!” she added.
Since then, the sisters have forged their own entrepreneurial paths. Kim Kardashian has gained massive success for her shapewear brand SKIMS, while Kourtney Kardashian with her lifestyle platform Poosh and Gummy Supplements Brand, Lemme. Khloé Kardashian also launched her own fashion line, Good American.
