Rapper Young Bleed, who has been hospitalized for the past few days following a brain aneurysm, has passed away at the age of 51 (via TMZ). Bleed, real name Glenn Clifton Jr., hailed from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The How You Do That rapper recently performed at the Cash Money Verzuz No Limit event at ComplexCon before his hospitalization.
The news of his passing was announced by his son, Ty’Gee Ramon, on Instagram, who shared the “unreal” news that his father had “gained angel’s wings” on Saturday, November 1.
He revealed that his father “was never in and out of the hospital” except for a high blood pressure. Bleed’s mother also earlier shared that his hospitalization was completely unexpected and started a GoFundMe for the rapper. Ramon shared:

His younger sister, Tedra Johnson-Spears, earlier asked fans for privacy on a Facebook post. Her comments came after false reports of the rapper surfaced on the internet. She asked fans to respect her family’s wishes and not to call or text the rapper’s mother or other family members.
Who Is Young Bleed’s Baby Mama, Tameka Long?

Young Bleed’s family also included his baby mama, Tameka Long, aka Madamm Meek, and their 10-year-old son. Nothing much about their relationship is publicly available, except for the fact that she is the President of his records company, Trap Door Entertainment.
She is also listed as an actor and recording artist, and her credits include Faces of Rap Mother. It is also reported that Ramon has four other siblings; however, more details aren’t available about Bleed’s other children.
Earlier, Long told TMZ that the rapper has been dealing with health issues, including high blood pressure and a heart condition. It was Long who revealed the doctor’s diagnosis of a brain aneurysm. She earlier shared that the family had hope.
She shared that he had shown signs of stability, adding, “His vitals are OK, so they have confidence he’ll make it out and recover.” Long’s Facebook relationship status shows her to be divorced.
