Vince Vaughn Applauded On Hot Ones For Ripping Hollywood Over Banning R-Rated Comedies

It was unexpected, and fans could not have been any happier. Vince Vaughn appeared on Hot Ones. His interview received rave reviews early on. Vaughn battled the wings with class, while his conversation with Sean Evans was optimal.

The two touched on Vaughn's career highlights, which included what he is best known for, R-Rated comedies. The genre seems to be dead in Hollywood nowadays. Vaughn gave his take as to why, and fans had a blast with his honesty, going after Hollywood and those behind the scenes.

Let's recap what he had to say, and more.

Vince Vaughn Believes Hollywood Is Avoiding R-Rated Comedies In Fear Of Losing Their Jobs

Vince Vaughn is back in the spotlight and this time, it is in a completely different project. Vaughn stars alongside Natalie Martinex, and Zach Braff in Apple TV's, Bad Monkey. While promoting the drama series, Vaughn made a pit stop on Hot Ones, and fans could not be happier. The actor handled the wings with complete class, while conversation alongside Sean Evans kept flowing throughout. Fans also loved the fact that Vaughn was complimentary of Evans, and asked the host questions in return throughout the interview.

There was one question fans were particularly pleased with. Evans asked Vaughn about R-rated comedies disappearing. The host said, "Hollywood is no longer making R-rated, theatrical comedies, such a tower of strength in your career. How have you seen Hollywood's interests change over the course of your career and what do you think are the forces at play?"

Vaughn answers without hesitation, "They're overthinking it. There would be some idea of a concept. There was a graph for storytelling. It is so weird. The people in charge don't want to get fired, more so than do something great. They want to follow a set of rules that somehow don't really translate, but they won't lose their jobs."

Vaughn concludes, "People want to laugh. You're going to see more of it in the film space sooner than later."

The moment takes place at the 11:00 mark.

Posted only two hours ago, fans are already praising Vaughn for the interview.

"I did not expect Vince Vaughn to be as introspective as he is! The dude is PROLIFIC whenever you look at how much he has been in. And I'd argue the dude really nails a lot of the roles he attempts. Another outstanding episode of Hot Ones," one fan writes.

"Vince Vaughn has that unique gift of being able to make anyone laugh by just being so casual about it. He doesnt have to yell , do any changes to his face or voice , he simply finds a way to pinch the laugh nerve."

A great interview and, clearly, fans are hoping to see more of Vince Vaughn in the future.

Bradley Cooper Recently Revealed How Vince Vaughn Changed His Career

Not only are fans excited to see Vaughn back in the spotlight, but he has also inspired careers behind the scenes. During a conversation at the SAG-AFTRA Foundation Conversations program, Bradley Cooper talked how Vince Vaughn changed him forever. The actor appreciated how Vaughn wasn't afraid to fail on-set.

Vince Vaughn Applauded On Hot Ones For Ripping Hollywood Over Banning R-Rated Comedies

“Up until that point, I was always just trying to get it right on camera. Be present and get it right. I’m watching Vince Vaughn destroy a scene, just crush it, and then he wants another take. It was the scene where the grandmother is shooting him, takes the gun out and he’s running out. He’s just like, ‘I want to do another one.” In front of everyone…this huge crew and lights and it’s so nerve-wracking…and it was his willingness to fail.”

“Watching Vince Vaughn…this huge tough guy, funniest guy, quickest guy…I was just in awe of this human, this man just failing, just willing to try anything."

Wedding Crashers was a smash hit then, and continues to trend all these years later.
