A SAM’S Club shopper has vowed to dump his decades-long membership after an embarrassing glitch.
The man became irate while filling up his car in South Carolina.
Sam’s Club membership cards promises plenty of perks
The angry shopper was left red-faced when his Sam’s Club membership card failed him while refueling
“After over 30 years as a Sam’s Club member I think it is time to leave,” he announced on X/Twitter.
He explained that he had been visiting family in South Carolina.
The man – whose bio says he’s a husband and dad with a “strong focus on family and faith” – said he had stopped to pick up some items.
But he was left red-faced while trying to fill up with gas.
“Visiting family in SC and got gas and made a club purchase,” he explained.
“Our membership and card was frozen.
“Discovered it when I tried to get gas in my car.”
But he was left angry and frustrated when he tried to seek urgent assistance from Sam’s Club officials.
“After three calls to customer service and over two hours, no resolution,” he fumed.
The U.S. Sun has contacted Sam’s Club for comment on the card glitch.
