The internet’s most asked question is whether Khloé Kardashian is the real daughter of Robert Kardashian. While the rumor was buried for a while, the speculations have started again, and fans want to know the truth.
If you’ve been keeping up with the newest episode of The Kardashians, you probably caught the moment where Kim Kardashian talks about offering to buy Robert Kardashian Sr.’s bible, which he gifted to O.J. Simpson. But Kim could not get it back, to which Khloé said (via E News!),
What a–holes just to not just give it to us. It’s proven he’s our dad.
However, Kim did not pass on the opportunity to tease her and said,
Well, it’s questionable between which one, between O.J. and Dad.
But it was good enough for Khloe either way, and she replied,
Both of my dads. Give it to me!
Breaking Down the O.J. Simpson–Khloé Kardashian Rumors
The whole Khloé–O. J. Simpson rumor has been floating around for years, and it has been pretty much fueled by a whole lot of tabloid imagination. Robert Kardashian Sr. and O. J. were extremely close back in the day, so close that Robert ended up joining O. J.’s legal “dream team” during the infamous trial.
Because of that connection, plus Kris Jenner later admitting she had an affair at some point during her marriage in her memoir. Because of that, people started speculating that Khloé might not be Robert’s biological daughter.
Over the years, the Kardashians have addressed it in bits and pieces. On Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kris once suggested Khloé take a DNA test, and Khloé immediately shut it down, saying she never needed a test to tell her who her dad was.
O. J. himself has repeatedly denied the rumor in the Full Send podcast in December 2022, saying (via Newsweek),
The rumor ain’t true. It’s not even anywhere close to being true
Still, because Khloé jokes about it sometimes, like in the recent The Kardashians episode, the speculation always resurfaces, even though there’s never been any real evidence behind it.
Who Is the Anonymous Buyer of Robert Kardashian Sr.’s Bible?
It is not just any Bible; it was Robert’s personal copy, the one he actually handed to O. J. Simpson back in 1994 after the arrest, with a handwritten note telling him to read it every day.
When O. J.’s estate started auctioning off his belongings earlier this year, that Bible suddenly showed up on the list, which immediately caught Khloé’s attention. Kim even tried to buy it privately for $15000 before the auction, but the estate shut her down because of legal and admin rules.
Once the Bible hit the auction block, the price shot up fast. It ended up selling for more than $80,000 after fees, and at the time, nobody knew who the anonymous high bidder was. Kim reveals that she was the mysterious buyer all along. She used an alias to buy it back.
Kim said she did it because the Bible means a lot to their family, especially to Khloé, who first spotted it. She wanted to make sure something that personal made its way back home.
