The new trailer for Selling Sunset Season 9 has sparked curiosity about Sandra Vergara’s connection to Sofia Vergara. Introducing herself alongside fellow agent Chelsea Lazkani in the trailer, she was asked if she was related to the Emmy-nominated actress. With a smile, she confirmed, “We’re related.”
The two are indeed family. The Selling Sunset star is Vergara’s cousin and was also legally adopted by her parents. The two grew up together. When the 37-year-old actress first moved to Los Angeles, she reportedly lived with her sister for four years (E! News).
Who is Sandra Vergara in Selling Sunset Season 9?
Sandra Vergara is the cousin and the adoptive sister of Sofia Vergara. She is known for serving as the Los Angeles correspondent for People (The TV Show!) and has appeared in shows like CSI, The Bold and the Beautiful, and Nip/Tuck.
She has starred alongside Colin Farrell in the 2011 horror film Fright Night. Additionally, Vergara is also passionate about painting, recently sharing a portrait of the Griselda star on Instagram.
Talking about her decision to join the Netflix reality TV show, she told Tudum, “The O Group felt like the perfect fit… sharp, high energy, and full of people who are at the top of their game.”
Vergara also noted that she has a natural talent for spotting valuable properties and connecting with clients, suggesting she could have a strong start to her career in luxury real estate.
“I’d seen [Selling Sunset] and always thought the women were incredibly dynamic. But being on the inside now, it’s a whole different level of excitement,” she further noted, expressing her excitement about being part of the show.
