Comedian Sebastian Maniscalco, viral creators AreYouKiddingTV, and the Prostate Cancer Foundation have partnered for a November health campaign. Filmed this month, the project features Maniscalco, Joey Gizzi, and Steven Lannum in mustache-themed content about prostate cancer.
The initiative coincides with Maniscalco’s Hulu special, “It Ain’t Right,” premiering on November 21. With 10 million combined followers, the team aims to educate younger audiences about a disease affecting 1 in 8 American men.
No Shave November Brings Underdiscussed Men’s Health Crisis Into Public Spotlight

Prostate cancer is the second most common male cancer, yet screening awareness is low. A Prostate Cancer Foundation survey showed 48% of men were unaware that a simple blood test can screen for the disease. This is reflected in testing habits, as 72% of men aged 40 to 49 have never been screened, and half of men over 45 reported avoiding testing entirely.
Projections for 2025 estimate over 313,000 new diagnoses and 36,000 d*aths from prostate cancer in the U.S. While early detection leads to a 99% cure rate, advanced cases and deaths continue to rise. Approximately 10% of new diagnoses occur in men under 55, making awareness among younger populations critical to reversing this trend and encouraging proactive health conversations.
Joey Gizzi, co-founder of AreYouKiddingTV, is motivated by his mother’s battles with cancer (via Muscle and Fitness),
Cancer has definitely affected my life, with my mother having it multiple times. But I think in general, everybody knows somebody who has been affected in some way, shape or form by cancer. Prostate cancer can be underdiscussed, and we felt that was a subject to start with.
Their campaign is part of No Shave November, a movement where men grow mustaches to spark conversations about health. Both Gizzi and Steven Lannum are participating to raise awareness for the cause.
Sebastian Maniscalco Shatters Box Office Records Before Hulu Special Premiere

Maniscalco joins this campaign after a very successful tour. His 2025 It Ain’t Right tour grossed $35.5 million from over 361,000 tickets in six months, making him Billboard’s top comedian for that period (via Billboard). He also extended his Madison Square Garden record to five consecutive shows. His previous tour set a Guinness World Record, earning $44.9 million from 84 shows.
His tour’s Chicago show was filmed for his seventh comedy special, It Ain’t Right, which is his first for Hulu and premieres November 21. At that venue, the United Center, he became its highest-grossing comedian. Directed by Paul Dugdale, the special features Maniscalco’s observational comedy on family life and aging. The trailer shows him arriving on a red Vespa and joking about sleep apnea.
The partnership pairs Maniscalco with AreYouKiddingTV, a channel with 3.8 million YouTube subscribers and 8 million TikTok followers. Gizzi and Lannum are known for videos featuring challenges for cash prizes, and have worked with celebrities like Ed Sheeran. This prostate cancer initiative is their first health awareness campaign, combining their platform with Maniscalco’s reach to promote screening to their large audience.
