Former Real Housewives of Potomac star Katie Rost has revealed that she has married the love of her life after he helped her navigate a manic episode.
“I got married on July 10th to the love of my life. Prior to our marriage I had a slight manic episode, it’s been handled and he encouraged me to get help and also stay off social media. So I committed to that but now I’m back! HEALTHY, HAPPY, MARRIED to a good man,” Rost captioned a post on X.
Her new husband is reportedly a real estate developer and real estate manager from Florida.
Katie was an original cast member of The Real Housewives of Potomac, starring in Season 1, which aired from January to April 2016. She left before Season 2 began filming in early 2017, later making a recurring “Friend of the Housewives” appearance during Season 4 in 201.
Following her departure from the show, she faced a custody battle over her three children, struggled with alcohol and substance misuse, including with Adderall and reportedly other drugs, and eventually entered rehab multiple times for alcohol use disorder and addiction relapse.
Most recently, she shared on Instagram that as of March 17, 2025, she had celebrated four months of sobriety, having completed a 28-day rehab in Baltimore and transitioned into a sober living house in Frederick, Maryland, while also resuming her work as a hostess at The Wye Oak Tavern.
