INDIE sensation Rex Orange County has teamed up with non-other than R&B star Daniel Caesar to gift fans a Valentine’s treat with two brand-new tracks.
The timing of the surprise collab couldn’t be better as Rex, 26, is gearing up for a string of highly anticipated London shows, where fans will be hoping for a live debut of the new songs.
The two new songs are called Rearrange My World and There's A Field (That's Only Yours).
Grammy Award-winning artist Daniel Caesar brings his signature smooth and mellow sound to the tracks, with Rex Orange County embracing a more stripped-down style from his usual vibrant production.
These tracks feature writing contributions from English singer-songwriter Devonté Hynes (also known as Blood Orange) and Mustafa The Poet.
Mustafa The Poet has written songs for many musicians over the year including Shawn Mendes and Justin Bieber’s Monster and Jonas Brothers hit track Sucker.
Daniel’s steady rise to fame has seen him accumulate several awards during his career and reach international acclaim.
He first rose to fame after he released two of his extended play (EP) records, Praise Break and Pilgrim, in 2014 and 2015 respectively.
In 2017, he went on to release his first studio album, Freudian.
Later, he released his second studio album, Case Study 101, in June 2019.
Some of his most notable songs include Get You, Japanese Denim and Always.
The music star received several nominations for his work and has won several awards to his credit including MTV Music Award and a Grammy Award.
Rex Orange County who's real name is James O'Connor first shot to fame in 2017 when he featured on Tyler, the Creator's Grammy-nominated album Flower Boy.

O'Connor attended the prestigious BRIT School, which counts Adele, Amy Winehouse, Leona Lewis, and actor Tom Holland among its alumni.

In two days English singer-songwriter Rex Orange County will make his highly anticipated return to London for a series of hometown performances at the iconic London Palladium.
