Salma Hayek Pinault has shared with her more than 28 million followers on Instagram the “proud” moment of taking part in the Olympic Torch Relay for the Olympic Games Paris 2024.
The film producer and actress shared photos and a video of her strolling through the Château de Versailles palace with the Olympic torch held aloft in her left hand. Hayek Pinault was part of Tuesday’s relay stretching from Rambouillet to Versailles.
“I had the honour of carrying the Olympic flame, a symbol of light, hope, peace, and unity,” Hayek Pinault wrote in her post.
“If you believe in these values, know that you were with me every step of the way. As I passed the torch and took part in the relay, I was proud to represent the enduring spirit of the Olympics, bringing light, hope, and unity to all.”
Dressed in the white ceremonial outfit, Hayek Pinault posted a teaser video with Eminem's "Lose Yourself” playing in the background. In another video, she is seen doing cartwheels in the palace.
“Getting ready to participate in the Olympic Torch Relay in Paris! Feeling the excitement and unity the Olympics brings. Stay tuned for more photos with the torch tomorrow,” she wrote.
