It looks like Nicole Kidman may finally have broken her silence on her divorce from Keith Urban, days after it was first announced. The news first came out on September 30, revealing that the actress had filed for divorce after nearly two decades of marriage.
Kidman’s interview with Harper’s Bazaar was published after the divorce announcement, and during the conversation, she said something that could be about the sudden change in her life.
When Kidman was asked to talk about the best part of growing older, she simply replied, “the experiences you’ve accumulated.” She then spoke about herself and the challenges she has faced, and how she knows she will get over them in due time. In her words,
There’s something to knowing that no matter how painful, or how difficult, or how devastating something is, there is a way through. You’re going to have to feel it. You’re not going to be able to numb it. You are going to have to feel it, and it’s going to feel insurmountable at times. Immediately after the divorce became news, rumors started circulating, accusing Keith Urban of infidelity and moving on from his marriage in a matter of days.
Two women have been at the center of this rumor: Grammy-nominated artist Kelsea Ballerini and Urban’s guitarist, Maggie Baugh, for whom he changed the lyrics of his song, The Fighter. Although nobody knows which one for sure, a source confirmed to TMZ that “all the signs point to” the country singer being in a relationship with another woman.
The source said, “All the signs point to the fact that Keith is with another woman. Let’s just say, Nicole doesn’t dispute that, but she’s still shocked over it.“
Another source told the Daily Mail, “The rumor is that he’s with a younger woman in the business. It’s all everyone is talking about. Everyone wants to know who, but so far, that’s a mystery.“
As for Kidman, people close to the actress feel that her ex-beau is trying to embarrass her in public on purpose. The insider told the Daily Mail, “Keith looks as if he’s out to try to publicly embarrass and hurt Nic. He’s always been the quieter one, but now that seems to have changed.”

Amid the pain, speculations, and reports that have been a result of the divorce, Nicole Kidman is putting on a brave face and moving ahead one step at a time. According to a source who confided in PEOPLE, the actress is focusing all her time and energy on “the two things that matter the most to her. Her family and her work.”
They added that Kidman is doing all she can to keep things “positive“, and that “she isn’t someone who dwells on regrets — she believes everything happens for a reason.“
Despite everything that has happened and what’s going on around her, Kidman “has a great attitude and feels very grateful for her life.” She has multiple projects lined up, and is “looking forward” to them all.

At the moment, Kidman has four major projects that her fans can look forward to: Practical Magic 2, Big Little Lies Season 3, Scarpetta, and Margo’s Got Money Troubles. While we don’t know all the release dates yet, Practical Magic 2 will be coming out on September 18, 2026.
