Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban‘s separation has been further solidified as the couple comes to terms with their divorce agreement. The documents filed in Davidson County, Tennessee, reveal the terms and conditions of their divorce, and things seem rather unproblematic so far.

From child support and custody to alimony and assets, the divorce agreement answers any question you may have about the final chapter of Urban and Kidman’s love story (via PEOPLE).

According to New York City’s Marilyn Chinitz, a matrimonial and family law attorney not linked to the case, the ex-couple probably “worked this out long before they ever made their announcement.”

As per the Marital Dissolution Agreement, Urban and Kidman have “experienced marital difficulties and irreconcilable differences,” which led to the Babygirl actress instituting “divorce proceedings against [Urban].” The document lists September 30 as the official date of their separation.

While alimony is a common element in divorces, both Kidman and Urban’s respective popularities and financial independence mean that neither is eligible to pay spousal support to the other.

The agreement states, “Neither party shall pay any amount and/or form of alimony or spousal support to the other. All alimony and spousal support claims are hereby forever waived by the parties…each party is responsible for their own debts.

It was also noted that Kidman and Urban both make over $100,000 per month.

Nicole Kidman Gets Primary Custody, Will Keith Urban Pay Child Support?

According to the Parenting Plan Order, Nicole Kidman gets primary residential custody of their two daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret. The young girls will spend 306 days of the year with their mother, while only 59 days with Urban.

Urban will have the kids on alternate weekends from Saturday, 10:00 AM to Sunday, 6:00 PM. As per the agreement, there is no mid-week parenting time. Chinitz told the outlet, “He gets Father’s Day every year, and they share Thanksgiving on an alternate yearly basis.”

As for Christmas in odd-numbered years, the actress will have “the entire winter vacation from the time that school ends until the time school resumes“. In even-numbered years, though, Kidman and Urban will share the vacation time equally.

Kidman will also have the girls every even-numbered years’ Spring Vacation, while Urban will have the odd years. Mother’s Day and Easter come under Kidman. The regular schedule applies to Summer Vacations.

Moreover, both parents are not allowed to speak ill of the other in front of their families and are instead to “encourage each child to love the other parent.” Urban and Kidman will attend a mandatory parenting seminar within 60 days of the filing.

Coming to child support, there is no provision for it; however, the agreement states that Urban has “prepaid all child support obligations. By prepaying the expenses for the children, he has no further obligation for child support.”

This means that Urban will only be financially responsible for Sunday and Faith when they are with him. Chinitz continued that Urban has paid,

all sums for his share of nanny and other childcare-related expenses, private school expenses, and extracurricular expenses for the minor children through the date each child reaches the age of majority and graduates high school.”

The agreement asserts that both Kidman and Urban have enough separate assets to independently support their daughters. Sunday and Faith are 17 and 14 years old, respectively. Click here to compare the former lovers’ net worths in 2025.

The agreement also states that if Urban and Kidman cannot decide for either of their children, the actress will have the final say.

The agreement states that both parties acknowledge that there are no assets owned by them, jointly or individually, “and that they have no interest in any assets, which are not reflected and addressed by the terms of this Agreement.

It goes on to add that neither of the two has real property titled in their individual names, but rather “through trusts, limited liability companies and/or other entities.

The real estate interests were “awarded to each party in accordance with the terms of such trusts, operating agreements, and other agreements between the parties, free and clear of any and all interest and claims by the other party.

Adding to it, Urban and Kidman will hold on to their separate financial assets as well as their creative work. This means their own separate bank and investment accounts. Both have waived their rights to each other’s assets, and there is no dispute between them.

Finally, their personal belongings, such as art, clothes, vehicles, etc, are “free and clear of any and all claims of the other party.” This means that Kidman will keep what’s hers and Urban will keep what’s his.
