By Steven Johnson 11/20/2025

A resurfaced 2019 YouTube video shows Naomi Campbell, 55, addressing her association with the late convicted s*x offender Jeffrey Epstein, flatly denying knowledge of his crimes and rejecting guilt by association. She confirmed meeting Epstein nearly 20 years ago, introduced by her ex-boyfriend, Flavio Briatore, on her 31st birthday. “Yes, I knew him… he was always front and center at Victoria’s Secret fashion shows,” Campbell said.

Although social media claims suggest Campbell visited Epstein’s island 21 times, these reports remain unverified.

In the same interview, Campbell said she is not a “saint” adding:

But I will not be held hostage by my past.

She condemned Epstein’s actions as “indefensible” and voiced support for his victims: “They’re scarred for life. For life.”

When I heard what he had done, it sickened me to my stomach, just like everybody else, because I’ve had my fair share of sexual predators and thank God I had good people around who protected me from this. I stand with the victims. … They’re scarred for life. For life.

Slamming the Daily Mail’s reporting as “direct character assassination,” she defended her philanthropic work, emphasizing her role in Fashion for Relief and the British Fashion Council (per USA Today). Campbell concluded the video with a warning about the dangers of guilt by association: “It’s wrong, it’s unfair and it must be stopped.”

Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump signed a bill ordering the release of all files related to Epstein, mandating the Justice Department make them searchable and downloadable within 30 days (per BBC).

It is important to note that being listed does not indicate wrongdoing. Documents reflect a mix of alleged victims and potential acquaintances.

US House Votes on Releasing Epstein Files: What to Expect

The US House of Representatives is poised to vote on releasing the remaining sealed files on Jeffrey Epstein. While previous tranches have been made public, thousands of documents are still under wraps. The vote, scheduled for 10 am ET on Tuesday, follows Donald Trump’s shift from calling the files a “Democratic hoax” to endorsing their public release (via Al Jazeera).

The Epstein files have already split the Republican Party. Some members sided with Democrats to push transparency, while others echoed Trump’s initial skepticism. Key Republican co-sponsors include Thomas Massie, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Lauren Boebert, and Nancy Mace. A simple majority of 218 votes is required to pass, moving the bill to the Senate and ultimately to Trump for signature.

Epstein’s history, accusations of sexual assault, child trafficking, and his links to high-profile figures mean the files will be heavily scrutinized, even though no new formal accusations have been confirmed.

Naomi Campbell’s forthright 2019 statement and the release of Epstein’s files underscore the persistent tension between public perception and documented fact. Are we ready to confront the uncomfortable truths? Drop your thoughts below!
