JaNa Craig and Kenny Rodriguez formed a special connection on Love Island USA that they are confident will last a long time, but despite that, or maybe because of that, they don’t want to rush into anything. Relationships that form in a reality TV show can sometimes seem very intense because people spend a lot of time together every day, but relationships in the real world go at a different pace.
JaNa and Kenny understand that, and that's why they are choosing to be careful, even if sometimes they feel they want to rush things. Even so, JaNa and Kenny are very hopeful about their relationship and believe they have a future together.
JaNa Craig And Kenny Rodriguez Don’t Want To Rush Into Living Together
JaNa Craig and Kenny Rodriguez recently appeared on an episode of The Viall Files podcast to speak about the future of their relationship. While they both believe they have a bright future ahead of them, JaNa explained that she wants to wait at least a year before moving towns to live closer together.
“I don’t want to move [to Dallas] right away. I think we could do our own thing, change our work schedules so we can spend time [and do], like, a year of visiting each other — or less maybe — but me moving to Dallas right now would be crazy,” she explained.
Even so, the idea of being apart after spending so much time together is painful.
“He leaves [Los Angeles] today and I’m so sad!” she lamented
“It was like, ‘Oh, we’re gonna be good and FaceTime all the time.’ But knowing that I’m [here] until Tuesday and he’s leaving today, I was like, ‘This sucks because we spent every day together for the past month and a half.’ It’s, like, we’re naturally best friends and partners. For him to leave, it’s super sad.”
Despite this, it’s wise that they are waiting before making any big changes. While spending every day together for a month and a half can be very intense, in the grand scheme of things, it’s not a long time for a relationship, so they are being smart taking it slow.
JaNa And Kenny About Their Romance
JaNa and Kenny are on the same page about waiting to move in together, but that doesn't mean that their relationship is not moving forward in other ways.
Kenny gushed about their communication skills and how they became "best friends," and he believes this is a sign that they are destined to last.
"That level of communication and trust that we already have speaks volumes,” Kenny explained. He also said that he noticed they had a strong connection on their first date.
“We spent eight hours on that first date, [which] kind of kicked off where we’re at. I’m just staring at her, like, it was a lot to look at… There really isn’t much that we don’t talk about."
JaNa, for her part, said that she can see a future with Kenny because he makes her feel great about herself.
She said that Kenny is "looking at me all the time," proving “he cares.”
“He’ll be like, 'You’re so beautiful,' and I’ll be like, 'Kenny, stop! [I] love it.' I think we have a bright future… and I said, 'I could see this long-term.' We’ll see."
