Fans just witnessed an emotional milestone for John Cena as he made his final WWE RAW appearance with a 6-Man Tag Team match. This also marks the last time he will be appearing on WWE’s weekly shows as an active wrestler. It’s safe to say it was a big day for the fans.
For his final RAW appearance, Cena was accompanied by Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh, Finn Bálor, Sheamus, and Rey Mysterio. After a brief tussle, Cena went on to challenge McDonagh, Balor, and Dominik to a 6-man tag team match against him. He had Sheamus and Rey on his side.
As the group of wrestlers engaged in an intense battle at Madison Square Garden, Cena’s team showed absolute brilliance, incorporating their signature moves into the fight. Rey’s double 619, Brogue Kick, Attitude Adjustment – the night had it all!
Eventually, Cena’s RAW/SmackDown journey ended on a high note, with Sheamus, Rey, and him walking out of the arena together as winners.
Thank you Cena. Thank you MSG. #WWERaw

After lifting the belt above his head, Cena looked into the camera for his final words: “Monday Night RAW, that’s all she wrote. Thank you. Love you.“

And that’s another chapter in Cena’s WWE story that has come to an end. There are only a couple more left before we close this book for good.
John Cena Will Defend WWE Intercontinental Title Next

The night began with a revisit to John Cena’s victory over Dominik Mysterio, where the former won the WWE Intercontinental Championship. After the video ended, Cena walked into the arena to a roaring applause and cheers of “Thank you, Cena.”
While he had an important message for the wrestling universe, he was interrupted by Dominik, who walked up to him as the crowd erupted in boos for the man.
Dominik accused Cena of being handed everything in his career, including a title shot. Still upset from his loss, he challenged his opponent to an Intercontinental Championship rematch, but insisted on doing things on his own terms.
Instead of squaring off in MSG, Dominik insisted that the match must take place in his hometown, San Diego. Cena replied, “You want your rematch in your backyard at Survivor Series on ESPN? San Diego, California? You and me, for the Intercontinental Championship? No problem, I accept.“
And just like that, Cena confirmed one of his final matches before retirement.
Rematch accepted, but on Dom's terms…

Cena’s next WWE appearance will be at the Survivor Series: WarGames in San Diego, on Saturday, November 29. He will fight against Dominik for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. The match will also mark his final appearance at both Survivor Series and on PPV as an in-ring performer.
How Many Matches to Go Before John Cena Retires From WWE?

Before Cena hangs up his jorts for good, he has two confirmed matches to go. The first being his fight against Dominik at Survivor Series, and the second being his retirement match.
The retirement match will take place during Saturday Night’s Main Event XLII on December 13. Cena will be up against the winner of the Last Time Is Now tournament.
It was confirmed earlier this year that Cena would go through a total of 36 appearances during his farewell tour. Having completed 34 of them, only two are left before the man bids his farewell to WWE.
The Last Time Is Now tournament is an ongoing 16-man tournament that began on November 10 in Boston, where Rusev defeated Damian Priest and Sheamus defeated Shinsuke Nakamura. Gunther recently defeated Je’Von Evans on November 17.
Next, we will see Carmelo Hayes vs Bronson Reed and Penta Vs. Finn Bálor on November 21. Who among these do you think will make it to the semifinals against Gunther and Solo Sikoa? Share your predictions in the comments section below!
