It seems like the showdown between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni is shaping up to be one of the biggest courtroom dramas in Hollywood. The list of potential witnesses proves it, as the newly unsealed court documents reveal that Lively’s legal team has several A-list names, including pop star Taylor Swift, Ryan Reynolds, and fellow actors like Emily Blunt and Hugh Jackman (via Deadline).
Other people on the list that you might recognize include Amber Tamblyn, America Ferrera, Alexis Bledel, Jenny Slate, Gigi Hadid, Scooter Braun, and, surprisingly, Candace Owens (possibly to prove the smear campaign allegations).
Blake Lively Summons A-List Witnesses Including Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift’s name is the highlight from Blake Lively’s list of potential witnesses. Swift contributed to the It Ends With Us soundtrack, and according to the court filings, she could provide crucial testimony about the other party’s alleged conduct (via Deadline).
As in, Swift could come in and describe how Lively and Justin Baldoni behaved with each other during the film’s production and afterward. Swift and Lively’s long-standing friendship was constantly in the public eye since the lawsuit, because it was believed that the two were going through a rough patch.
While that still might be the case, this is now the first time their personal bond could play a role in legal proceedings. However, Swift’s representatives have so far declined to comment on her involvement in the testimony.
Blake Lively’s Legal Strategy and Claimed Damages for the Trial

Blake Lively has accused It Ends With Us co-star and director Justin Baldoni of misconduct and a smear campaign that cost her millions of dollars in damages. The numbers are staggering, and the documents reveal how the actress is seeking no less than three times the amount of her actual loss, which is estimated to be around $161 million (via Deadline).
Per the documents, she has lost earnings of $56.2 million and profits of $71 million, and these figures are subject to expert testimony. They include her on-screen earnings, endorsement deals, engagements, and profit from her beauty brand and beverage company.
Lively’s legal team is also charging for her emotional pain, humiliation, and reputation harm, which comes close to $34 million. That’s how we get the $161 million, and there’s still room for additional claims as more evidence surfaces.
Since Justin Baldoni’s $400 million countersuit was dismissed, the tables have turned. The trial is set to begin on March 9, 2026, in New York City. So, what do you think will be the verdict or the outcome of this legal battle?
