Megan Thee Stallion and Klay Thompson haven’t been an item for long, but it looks like they are already dreaming of white picket fences. Doing a playful food review for her Instagram account, Megan was joined by her NBA boyfriend, who didn’t waste any time attaching his last name to her.
After she said, “Casa de Captain“, Thompson replied, “Casa de Megan Pete Thompson.” Smooth. Very smooth. For those who don’t know, Megan’s full name is Megan Jovon Ruth Pete.

Judging by how Megan was completely on board with Thompson calling her by his last name, she clearly doesn’t mind it at all. Does this mean we would be hearing wedding bells sometime soon?
Of course, Thompson’s sweet gesture didn’t go unnoticed by fans in the comments. One user wrote, “DID HE JUST HYPHENATE THAT NAME? Oh girlll….” while another commented, “‘Megan Pete Thompson’ mmmmhmmm that’s right Klay.”

Megan Thee Stallion and Klay Thompson are free to run their relationship at their desired speed. However, some may argue that the two haven’t known each other for that long to be considering marriage or changing last names.
Megan and Thompson first sparked dating rumors in July 2025, when the Neva Play rapper posted a bunch of photos of herself by the pool in her ‘Hot Girl Summer’ swimwear line.
Eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice a familiar figure in the background, which was none other than the Dallas Mavericks’ very own shooting guard. A few days later, Thompson, too, posted photos on his account, kissing a woman who seemed to resemble Megan – not to mention the matching nails.

Since then, the two have attended events together, and Megan has constantly been a support in his games. Talking about her relationship, the rapper told PEOPLE at the Pete & Thomas Foundation Gala,
Oh, we met and it was such a meet-cute, it was like a fucking movie. I won’t tell you how and I won’t tell you when, but it was a movie…he’s the nicest person I’ve ever met in my life.
And their relationship has since then continued to make headlines for all the right reasons.

Ever since the couple started dating, they have been blessing their fans with cute moments on social media, including the time they went on a golf date together.
In the Instagram video, Thompson goes on to call Megan his “good luck charm” before adding, “ever since I’ve been in love, my golf game’s reaped all the benefits.“

In a conversation with US Weekly, Thompson even called her a special person in his life. Talking about attending the gala with his woman, he stated, “Well, it feels incredible because Megan is such a special person and she inspires so many around the world.”
He added,
This is just another incredible feat of hers to be able to give back, create foundation, and raise a ton of money for those in need. And I’m honored to be here by her side…She has never been put in a box, or allowed herself to be in a box, and she just continues to inspire so many people around the world. And, on top of that, raise a ton of money this evening and just do so much for so many in need.
