Brown revealed that she and Bongiovi decided to keep their child out of the spotlight. She shared, “For me, it’s really important to protect her and her story.” She shared that she would leave it up to her daughter to “potentially one day share it herself.” Brown revealed that the same went for her daughter’s name.
Brown shared that her daughter would reveal her name and her personality once “she’s ready to decide for herself.” She shared that it was her job to protect her while her daughter was so little. Brown shared:
If she chooses to share her personality one day with the world, like I did when I was young, that’s something we’d support. But right now, as she’s so little—as her parents, it’s our job to protect her from that.
Brown shared, “It’s been a beautiful, amazing journey — she’s taught us so much already.” She also shared that her entire perspective on life changed ever since she became a mother. She shared, “The smaller things in life are so much more precious. Our days are filled with lots of cuddles and laughter and love. They were seen taking a stroll with their child in the Hamptons shortly after their announcement. In photos captured by the Daily Mail, Brown’s phone case was marked with the initials RWB, hinting at the baby’s name.
A source told PEOPLE at the time that Brown and Bongiovi were planning to raise their daughter on their Georgia farm. The source said, “They have really worked on creating this special family life in Georgia. [Millie] loves her farm — it’s going to be such a special place for the baby to grow up.”
Brown shared a glimpse of her daughter on Instagram when she shared a carousel of photos. In the photo, she and Bongiovi leaned their heads, looking at their baby while on the It’s a Small World ride at Disney park.
