How Did Bhad Bhabie Earn Over $50 Million: A Deep Dive Into Her Controversial Life

By Richard Martin 11/10/2025

Bhad Bhabie, aka Danielle Bregoli, is only 22, but she is already a millionaire, having earned some really big bucks over the years. Her net worth has been estimated at around $35 million by Celebrity Net Worth, but she claims that she has earned over $50 million from another platform besides her singer-songwriter gig: OnlyFans. And the controversial media personality also has screenshots of receipts to prove it.

Per Celebrity Net Worth, Bhabie is one of the highest-earning celebrities on OnlyFans. As evidenced through the receipts she herself shared on social media previously, between April 1, 2021, and July 11, 2024, the rapper had successfully grossed around $71.3 million from the platform, with her net earnings breaking down to $57 million. Here’s a proper breakdown of the same, for whoever doesn’t believe her claims:

After joining the platform in April 2021, she shared an earnings report screenshot that showed she made $1 million within a mere six hours on the racy platform. These earnings reportedly even “shattered’ the previous one-day record for OnlyFans, which was held by Bella Thorne (via Us Weekly). This earnings report included $757,000 from the subscription fees (charging $24 per month), $267,000 for DM payments, and $5,500 from tips.

Then, in August 2021, Bhad Bhabie claimed that her OnlyFans income alone had made her rich enough to buy a $4 million mansion and still have enough money left to retire forever. Around 7 months later, in March 2022, she was confirmed to have bought a $6 million mansion outside of Boca Raton. Then, in an interview with TMZ a month later, she revealed that she had already made $50 million from the platform within only one year.

Of course, her claims brought a ton of skeptical feedback from unconvinced fans. So she decided to pull out the receipts to back up her claims. This statement showed that, between April 1, 2021, and April 25, 2022, the rapper grossed nearly $53 million from OnlyFans. This netted down to $42 million in her pre-tax net income after the platform’s cut – $16 million from subscriptions, $25 million from messages, and $160,000 from tips.

Then, in a Twitch stream with DDG earlier this year in March, the rapper was asked by the streamer about the most she made in a day on OnlyFans. To this, she candidly replied (via @WydDonnie on X),

When we first started, I made a million dollars in six hours. And by the end of day, it was like $4 million. Now, overall, the net on it is like $75 million. […] I got properties, cars, all that type of sh-t.

Apart from OnlyFans earnings, Bhabie also enjoys some significant paychecks from her successful rap and social media careers. Per Celebrity Net Worth, she reportedly makes from $100-$300,000 per month from paid endorsements, charges $40,000 for meet-and-greet sessions, earned $900,000 to endorse cosmetics company CopyCat Beauty for 6 months, and made $2 million from product placements in her music videos.

Plus, back in July 2019, she also signed a $1 million publishing/recording deal with Pulse Music Group, launching her earnings and net worth to even more remarkable heights. To say the least, Bhad Bhabie has really worked hard and smart over the years to build up this millionaire empire for herself. At the same time, she has also been involved in some significant controversies over the years, and here’s a deeper dive into the same.

Bhad Bhabieʼs Controversial Dr. Phil Appearance That Made Her Famous

Back in September 2016, Bhad Bhabie and her mother, Barbara Ann, appeared on Dr. Phil for a segment titled ‘I Want to Give Up My Car-Stealing, Knife-Wielding, Twerking 13-Year-Old Daughter Who Tried to Frame Me for a Crime’ to discuss the rapper’s behavior, which included stealing a crew member’s car while the episode was being shot (see Billboard).

During the episode, when the Gucci Flip Flops singer got annoyed at the audience’s laughter, she responded to them, saying, “Catch me outside, how about that?”, challenging them to a fight outside the studio. But due to her accent, the phrase sounded like, “Cash me ousside, how bout dah,” which became a meme and launched her as the “Cash Me Outside Girl.”

After becoming famous due to the meme, Bhabie reappeared on the show the following February, but without a studio appearance due to the response to her previous appearance. Her catchphrase, meanwhile, led to her chart-topping single Cash Me Outside, which led to a series of dance videos on YouTube (via Billboard).

Adding to this, the rapper and her mother also sued three companies for “infringing her intellectual property rights” by using her signature catchphrase without consent, with Bhabie even threatening to sue Walmart for using her catchphrase on T-shirts (via Business Insider).

Bhad Bhabie and the Turn-About Ranch Controversy

Soon after her appearance on Dr. Phil, Bhad Bhabie was sent to Turn-About Ranch, which is a facility for “troubled teens” in Escalante, Utah. Later, she was arrested and pleaded guilty to charges of grand theft, marijuana possession, and filing a false police report. The rapper was sentenced to five years’ probation in July 2017 for the same, but it ended much earlier, in March 2018, after she hired a new lawyer (see XXL Mag).

A few years later, in March 2021, Bhabie claimed that she experienced and witnessed abuse at the Turn-About Ranch in a video uploaded to her YouTube channel. In the clip, she launched multiple accusations against the staffers, including their alleged forcing her to sit still for three days straight without being allowed to sleep, using physical restraint on other teenagers, and even ignoring reports of bullying (see Vulture).

You’re not even feeding them or letting them sleep in decent conditions. Just doing things that no one would ever want done to their child, and doing it to kids that are so helpless. That’s the thing about these places. You have no evidence. You don’t have a phone there. There’s no cameras there. There’s no evidence.

Adding to this, she also criticized Dr. Phil for sending teenagers on his show to the respective facility for troubled teens. He, in turn, responded through an April 2021 interview with NewsNation, where he claimed that he was unaware of the ranch’s actions and did not get progress reports from them either. Bhabie, however, further responded to this with a follow-up clip where she stated that the ranch sends progress reports directly to the show (via Newsweek and Buzzfeed).

The Time Bhad Bhabie Attempted to Assault Iggy Azalea

The same year that her probation ended earlier, Bhad Bhabie ignited yet another controversy in November when she reportedly attempted to assault fellow rapper Iggy Azalea. This happened at Cardi B’s Fashion Nova launch party, where Bhabie reportedly threw her drink at Azalea before attempting to assault her and starting a fight (via TMZ).

In the wake of this incident, Bhabie claimed to the paparazzi that she had only pulled off this stunt due to prior comments that Azalea made on Instagram. Azalea, on the other hand, responded with a series of tweets, condemning Bhabie (see Entertainment Tonight).

Bhad Bhabie Also Got Under Fire for ‘Cultural Appropriation’

The following year, in December 2019, the Cash Me Outside Girl released a video of her sporting box braids with gold beads on individual plaits on Instagram. However, some felt that the hairstyle, which is typically worn by Black women, was appropriating their culture, causing controversy over cultural appropriation.

Bhabie didn’t hesitate to hit back at the comments, though, as she criticized Black women who wear their hair straight in wigs and weaves in a letter to the community, writing on her Instagram Stories,

To all the black females that are saying my hair [ain’t] meant for box Braids guess the f**k what y’all hair [ain’t] meant to be straight but y’all glue whole wigs on to your heads and sew brazilian/Indian/ Peruvian hair which [isn’t anything] like your natural hair texture at all.

I don’t say a god damn thing neither do the other cultures that you get the hair from And on top of that I’m not one of the ppl who has ever made fun of or said anything bad about girls with box braids or any type of braids [sic].

She then proceeded to threaten to start “getting real disrespectful” before clearing up her comments about Black women wearing straight hair. She explained,

First of all my comment was NOT directed towards ALL black women who wear straight hair only Towards the black women who were saying I was trying to b black bc I was wearing braids all I did was say back to them what they said to me by saying what they want to b like other cultures for wearing straight Peruvian, Indian, and other hair types

She also backtracked on another comment she made, in which she described some Black women as ‘bald-headed’. She stated,

And btw I didn’t call black women bald headed either that was in a whole different comment that was made about all the ppl who also had something to say about me.

She further mentioned that she doesn’t feel “personally offended” by the choices that other women make with their hairstyles, so they, in turn, shouldn’t be offended by hers. She said,

Why would I b bothered by the way another girl decided to wear THEIR hair that s**t [ain’t] got nothing to do with me as long as she feels she looks good who tf cares it’s just f***ing hair

While she has since deleted all those Instagram posts, these stories were still recorded and have only added to her long list of controversies (via Metro).

Bhad Bhabie’s List of Controversies in 2020

In 2020, Bhad Bhabie got into numerous controversies. For one, in March, actress Skai Jackson filed a restraining order against her. This came in the wake of a heavily documented feud between the two, in which Bhabie reportedly sent Jackson death threats and repeatedly harassed her mother on social media.

Per the Business Insider, the feud began in February, when Jackson posted a comment from her secondary Instagram account, expressing romantic interest in NBA YoungBoy, aka Bhabie’s ex. In response, she called Jackson a “Disney Thot” in an Instagram Story, since Jackson appeared in the Disney sitcom Jessie from 2011 to 2015.

Bhabie also revealed that Jackson had blocked her on social media before going on Instagram Live, where she appeared to threaten the actress, saying, “B—h, why are you so obsessed with me? I will literally kill you.” While Jackson never directly addressed Bhabie’s comments, the latter continued to express her frustrations with the former online.

Things really escalated, though, when Bhabie and Jackson’s mothers got involved in their feud as well. While Jackson’s mother, Kiya Cole, commented on Bhabie’s post, condemning her “trashy negativity,” Barbara Ann, in response, called Cole on her preaching, writing,

tell your daughter to stop speaking on mine. and you think you are calling my daughter Ratchet. Remember I come from New York too.

These threats and criticisms continued back and forth between the two. Soon after, Jackson was granted a temporary restraining order in the Superior Court of California in L.A., but Bhabie barely seemed fazed by it. Either way, by June that year, Jackson dropped the restraining order (via TMZ). That same month, Bhabie also entered a 31-day rehab facility for childhood trauma and addiction to prescription medication (via TMZ).

Bhad Bhabie Has Had a Past of Child Abuse

Apart from all these controversies, Bhad Bhabie has also reportedly had a past of child abuse and trauma, as she herself confessed. In a deeply distressing revelation, she publicly accused her mother’s former boyfriend and her ex-bodyguard, Frank Dellatto, of s*xually abusing her during her childhood.

In a now-deleted Instagram Story, she wrote (via Yahoo! News),

The amount of time this lady purposely put me in harms way and yall mad about a smack? She let me get m*lested by her boyfriend Justin and @frankdellatto for 3 years both times. Nobody safe play with me if you want too.

Adding to these allegations, previously, Bhabie also posted and quickly deleted a video on Instagram that allegedly showed her ex-boyfriend, Le Vaughn, physically abusing her. In the clip, which was captured by security cameras, Vaughn appeared to pull her by her hair and slam her to the ground. She also posted images of herself sporting a black eye and a bruised face.

Soon after this incident, Bhabie’s mother, Barbara, addressed the matter on her Instagram Story. She claimed that her daughter had been manipulated in her relationship with Vaughn, and also that she had become isolated from her family. She further expressed concern over the domestic violence and manipulation that Bhabie was experiencing.

What’s worth noting, though, is that in March 2025, Vaughn, with whom she shares a daughter named Kali Rose, was shot in his little finger at a strip club on Olympic Boulevard in Los Angeles. Later that month, Bhabie reportedly left California for safety reasons, saying that three gunmen had tried to break into her home (via The Express Tribune).

Bhad Bhabie and Her Feud With Alabama Barker

Yet another intriguing controversy that Bhad Bhabie was involved in was her feud with Alabama Barker, the daughter of Travis Barker. This happened after the former accused the latter of stealing her then-boyfriend and the father of her daughter, Le Vaughn.

At the time, Bhabie was undergoing chemotherapy after coming clean about her blood cancer diagnosis earlier that year, and had just had a baby with him. Amidst their feud, both Bhabie and Barker went back and forth on social media, exchanging jabs. Bhabie even released a diss track titled Over Cooked (see Rolling Stone).

Kanye West has denied involvement in the feud between Bhad Bhabie and Alabama Barker, clarifying that his voice was used without consent in Bhad Bhabie’s recent diss track.

He explained that while he approved the use of a beat from his song “Carnival,” he did not provide vocals… pic.twitter.com/oojRBn7DbR

Barker, however, has denied Bhabie’s claims. That same month, she released her own diss track in response, Cry Bhabie. But Bhabie didn’t stop there and went on to release yet another diss track, Ms. Whitman, sampling the beat from Kanye West’s song, Carnival (via Forbes).

To sum it up, Bhad Bhabie truly holds a pretty lucrative history of controversies, which range across multiple topics and issues. But what’s commendable is how successful she has still managed to become, even amidst all the controversies, especially considering her current $35 million net worth at only 22 years of age.
