In Cannes, the fashion show starts at the airport.
The stars continue to arrive in droves for the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, and while there has been no shortage of fantastic red-carpet looks, celebrities’ street and travel day style has been just as inspiring.
Emma Watson is among the movie stars who was photographed after touching down at the Nice airport this week, and her outfit was a lesson in casual sophistication. Up top, she wore a little black sweater with a scalloped neckline and white opalescent buttons all over. She paired it with a breezy white maxi skirt in a striped blue flower pattern and eyelet cutouts.

For an all-day shoe, Watson also slipped into a pair of glossy black ballerina flats with little bow ties at the top. (Shop our selection of the best ballet flats here.)
The Harry Potter alum’s accessories were travel day essentials: a large black shoulder bag, dainty gold jewelry, and inky-black sunglasses. She wore a bright red manicure and minimal makeup.
A day later, Watson was seen arriving at the Palais des Festival in a pretty red-and-white plaid maxi dress, tan suede boots, a gold-chain purse, and tortoise-shell Ray-Ban sunglasses.
Her visit marks the first time she has attended the Cannes Film Festival since 2013, when she was promoting the Sofia Coppola film The Bling Ring. This time around, she’s in town simply for the immaculate vibes. The actor—whose last film was 2019’s Little Women—is in the midst of a much-needed break from acting and is instead pursuing her many other projects, including earning her master’s degree in creative writing at the University of Oxford, and running her gin brand, Renais.
