Daisy Kent has one suitor in mind for Rachel Nance if she were heading to the beaches of Bachelor in Paradise.
“I think if this guy went, I think they would hit it off. But he’s been on a lot of the shows, so I don’t know,” Daisy, 26, teased on the Thursday, March 20, episode of the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast.
After Daisy revealed she was referring to Blake Moynes, the group questioned whether he would be a contestant on the spinoff series again. (Blake, 34, made appearances on Clare Crawley, Tayshia Adams and Katie Thurston’s seasons of The Bachelorette and starred on Bachelor in Paradise season 9.)
“Who knows. I mean, he’s probably in Africa right now,” cohost Joe Amabile quipped of the likelihood of Blake, 34, making a return, while Daisy replied, “I could picture Rachel going and doing that! I can picture them traveling.”
While it’s unclear whether Blake could make an appearance on the show, Daisy shared that she is determined to play cupid in Rachel’s love life — and encouraged her to go on Bachelor in Paradise.
“When Paradise became, like, [in] talks that it was happening again, I went through every season of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette and was like pulling guys and sending them and being like, ‘What about this guy? What about this guy?’” Daisy said, referring to ABC renewing Bachelor in Paradise season 10 in 2024 after skipping filming for a year.
When it comes to Rachel’s perfect match, Daisy shared that she thinks the ideal suitor is someone who’s “very active” and “likes to do a lot of fun things” that don’t solely revolve around “drinking” and partying.
“Family and friend oriented, I think is really important, because Rachel is such a loving person,” she explained. “And also they have to be funny, because she’s one of the funniest people I know. So that’d just be boring if they weren’t.”
Rachel, for her part, would be “open” to finding love on the beaches of Mexico. “I’m single. I’m just a single dog mom, just looking for a dog dad. My dog’s tag literally says, ‘Looking for a dog dad,’” she quipped. “I think the beach is, like, my home, honestly. So I think that would be good for me.”
After Joey Graziadei sent her packing on The Bachelor season 28, Rachel sparked romance rumors with John Henry Spurlock. Rachel, however, set the record straight in June 2024 and confirmed they were not in a relationship.
“We just hung out. He’s a great company,” she said on the “Almost Famous” podcast at the time. “He’s a super sweet guy.”
