Crack in Rachel Zegler’s Relationship With Gal Gadot as She Makes a Secret Move

By Mike Jackson 11/18/2025

A new update has just surfaced about Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot’s reportedly strained relationship: She has unfollowed the Israeli actress on Instagram, as reported by @BuzzingPop on X. Gadot, 40, in the meantime, was still following Zegler, 24, at the time of publication.

This comes after reports of there being clashes between the two over their respective political views, even while working together on their flop flick Snow White, as per multiple media reports.

For those who might not know, while Zegler is an avid supporter of Palestine, having signed the Artists4Ceasefire letter, Gadot has voiced her outspoken support for Israel amidst the ongoing genocide in Gaza and the tense relationship between Israel and Palestine.

Now these latest reports are hinting at the two’s relationship further facing the toll of their conflicting opinions.

A Source Previously Claimed Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot Are “Not Friends”

Earlier this year, numerous sources had it that both Zegler and Gadot are going through the motions and reportedly have little to no contact when no cameras are around. As a source claimed to The Sun:

They are not friends. They did a job together and that’s it.

Fans must already know that Zegler was cast as the titular princess in Snow White, while Gadot embodied the role of the evil queen and witch. Plus, when it came to the promotions of the film, the two did not do many press interviews together, even though they did appear together at the Oscars and the film’s premiere.

Gal Gadot Earlier Shut Down Reports of a Strained Relationship With Rachel Zegler

While rumors continue to swirl about there being a feud between co-stars Gal Gadot and Rachel Zegler, the Israeli actress shut down reports of the same earlier this year, in August. During her appearance on Israeli TV show The A Talks, she candidly said:

I really enjoyed filming that movie, I really had fun. Even working alongside Rachel Zegler. We laughed and we talked, we had fun. I was positive the movie was going to be a huge hit.

She then claimed that the October 7 attacks put “a lot of pressure” on everyone “to post against Israel.” She said,

And then Oct. 7 happened, and what happened all over in different industries, not just Hollywood, there was a lot of pressure put on celebrities, actors, creators to post against Israel. And it happened.

Gadot also mentioned that she “can always explain and try to give people in the world context about the situation and the reality in Israel,” while adding that she does “always do that.” However, she also mentioned,

But, at the end, people make up their own minds. And I was disappointed that the movie was incredibly affected by all of that and that it didn’t do well at the box office. But it is what it is, you win some, you lose some.

These comments inevitably earned the actress a lot of backlash from the fans who have been unable to turn a blind eye to the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Palestine (see Reddit). And right when the fire seemed to die down, about the reported bad blood between the two, this latest report has added fuel to the flames.
