Josh Hall has been doing as well as can be expected in dealing with his divorce from Christina Hall. The separation has been tense, to say the least, with the Christina on the Coast star accusing him of stealing from him and making it clear she’s not willing to pay spousal support.
Sources and Josh's own social media activity, however, seem to indicate that he's not worried about the upcoming legal battle. While he was reportedly surprised and heartbroken over the divorce, he's hopeful and excited about what comes next for him, and his latest post proves it.
Josh Hall Posts Optimistic Instagram Story After Christina Slammed Him

Not long ago, Christina Hall took to Instagram to slam her ex-husband Josh, saying that he was “an insecure man with a large ego” who wouldn’t succeed in bringing her down.
However, at least publicly, Josh is trying to stay out of the drama. He posted on his Instagram stories a picture of a sculpture spelling the word “hope” and added emojis of hands praying and a heart.
Just days ago, a source spoke with E! News to say that, despite the divorce coming as a surprise, he’s looking forward to the next chapter of his life.
“Now that they’ve split, we hear he’s spending some time in Nashville, where he’s been hitting the gym and attending church regularly," said the insider. "He’s focusing on finding the light at the end of the tunnel as he has to completely start over."
"He's optimistic for what's next but wishes nothing but the best for Christina and her kids."
About the divorce, the source claimed that Josh was heartbroken, as he had devoted his life to their marriage.
"All marriages have their ups and downs, but Josh never expected his relationship with Christina to end like this. Josh isn’t a flashy guy. He was a medically retired cop and real estate investor when he met Christina, and he devoted the past few years to Christina and her kids."
"Josh's priority was always Christina. He loved her dearly, and he’s very sad this is how things ended."
Christina And Josh Hall's Complicated Divorce
While Josh Hall might be optimistic, Christina Hall seems to be gearing up for a fight. In court documents obtained by Entertainment Tonight, fans can see that the divorce will not be an easy one.
The HGTV star is accusing her ex-husband of stealing money from her by lying to her property manager and getting her to transfer money to his account that belonged to Christina.
"Josh was able to divert over $35,000 of my separate property rental income into his account," she stated. "I am asking for Josh to account for the funds taken and return them to me as those funds are specifically used to pay any loans, obligations, property taxes, insurance, and maintenance for these rental properties."
She warned her ex that she believed she shouldn't have to pay spousal support, given that "Josh has his own income and therefore he should not need any spousal support from me. He has sufficient assets of his own to pay his own attorney's fees and costs."
No matter how optimistic or hopeful Josh wants to be, they might have an uphill legal battle.
