Christina Hall has been having fun with her friends ever since she announced her divorce, and no matter how tense and public things get, she will still make time to spend time with them. After publicly fighting her ex-husband Josh Hall for days, she needed a break, and a quick getaway with her friends was the perfect escape.
In the past couple of weeks, things have quickly escalated between the exes, with Christina accusing Josh of wanting to take advantage of her to get money, and Josh saying he never wanted to get divorced at all. While her girl trip was a much-needed distraction, the Christina on the Coast star will probably have an uphill legal battle.
Christina Hall Goes On A Girls’ Trip Amid Her Scandalous Divorce
Christina Hall and two of her friends decided it was a good idea to escape their problems for a couple of days. The HGTV star didn’t reveal where they escaped to, but she shared a picture of a beautiful two-story house with a big yard and captioned it “How dreamy is this?” She also posted a fun photo of herself with her friends. In it, she was lying down on the floor and she jokingly wrote “When it’s been a really good last night.”
This getaway was exactly what Christina needed after an intense few weeks since she separated from her ex-husband, Josh Hall.
“Much needed girl trip,” she said about it. “41 is SO good,” she added. She celebrated her 41st birthday on July 9.
Just days before this awaited getaway that provided some relief, Christina had been publicly fighting her ex-husband on her Instagram account, accusing him of wanting money from her and calling him “insecure” for his attitude toward the divorce.
Christina And Josh Hall's Contentious Divorce
Christina and Josh Hall's divorce has been very tense, and it doesn't look as though they will fix things the easy way. Christina, who is convinced Josh is going after her money, slammed her husband publicly on several occasions and recently accused him of stealing from her.
Entertainment Tonight obtained some court documents in which Christina stated that "Josh was able to divert over $35,000 of my separate property rental income into his account."
"I am asking for Josh to account for the funds taken and return them to me as those funds are specifically used to pay any loans, obligations, property taxes, insurance, and maintenance for these rental properties."
Josh, for his part, stated that he wants to keep the divorce negotiations outside of the public eye, and reiterated that he never wanted to get divorced in the first place.
"I prefer privacy, especially during something as life changing as a divorce I did not ask for. I will not publicly badmouth anyone as people have families, friends and others who respect and love them. Unfortunately the internet is forever," he wrote in an Instagram post.
"We are real humans, this is our life and I am not here to entertain people I don’t know with my private matters. Those details will be handled fairly behind closed doors with our respective counsels in due time. Those who know each of us, know who we are."
