“Caught in 4k again”: Justin Baldoni’s Joking About Sexual Harassment Class Is Disappointing for His Fans

By Charles Gonzalez 11/18/2025

Newly unsealed footage has been brought to the table in the Justin Baldoni-Blake Lively legal troubles, with this one allegedly showing the actor-director joking about missing “s*xual harassment training” in front of his female co-stars. And while fans aren’t exactly pleased with it, they are still pointing out that it was said as a joke amidst the disappointed reactions.

Submitted as an exhibit in the Wayfarer parties’ motion for summary judgment filed on November 13, 2025, the behind-the-scenes clip showed Baldoni filming with his co-stars, Blake Lively and Jenny Slate, at a table. Amidst the casual talk, the actor can be heard saying the word “sexy” while looking in Lively’s direction before asking for a toothpick while pointing out that something was stuck in her teeth.

Justin Baldoni's "sexy" comment caught on camera, making crew visibly uncomfortable and Baldoni responding:

"Sorry, I missed the sexual harassment training"

And rolling his eyes at the camera.

This was followed by some more incoherent mumbling that the camera couldn’t quite catch amidst all the noise surrounding them, before Baldoni turned toward the camera and jokingly said, before proceeding to jokingly roll his eyes,

Sorry, I missed the s*xual harassment training.

Apart from this, in the 8-minute-long clip, it doesn’t appear there’s anything else relevant to the s*xual harassment allegations that Lively launched against Baldoni besides the exchange about the word “sexy.” What’s worth noting, though, is that the actor’s mouth was blocked as he made this comment, and it has only been deduced from the voice that he said that (via TMZ).

Fans React to This New Evidence in the Blake Lively-Justin Baldoni Lawsuit

As evident from the fan reactions, Blake Lively’s fans are finding this to be the perfect opportunity to pounce on Justin Baldoni for his joke. Other fans, meanwhile, are pointing out that Baldoni only made the “sexy” comment while referring to the fact that something was stuck in Lively’s teeth, and that his comment about “s*xual harassment training” was just a joke.

All in all, here’s a look at the mixed reactions that fans have to this new evidence, as shared on X:

Can we also enhance the voices of those around JB including Jenny and Blake cause it’s a bit weird that we hear his voice and see his dialogue but everyone else around is quiet. Seems dubbed.

caught in 4k. again.

To say "I missed the sexual harassment training" to an actress – Jenny Slate, in this case and not even Blake – when you are directing a movie about domestic violence is just… SICKENING.

I don't even get why his team thought that releasing this video was a good idea.

He made a joke about the food in her teeth being sexy. Clearly joking. This isn't sexual harassment.

wait what? She has something in her teeth. He sarcastically says "sexy" while telling her about it. This entire app is bots.

If you believe anything from this video proves sexual harassment, you have no idea of what it's like. So again, shut it. Don't speak of what you don't know.

I think she was trying to pick something out of her teeth, which he mockingly commented on as “sexy.” That's why someone called for a toothpick afterwards. Much ado about nothing.

He’s joking that the food in her teeth is sexy. Lmfao she’s really grasping at straws now

Seriously people. The hot and sexy is a joke because she has something stuck in her teeth. Thats why he asks for a toothpick and scratches at his own tooth to show her where it is. But why not just accuse him of being a creep.

While that’s that, what’s also worth noting is that during his deposition on October 7, 2025, taken in Los Angeles, Baldoni confirmed under oath that he had participated in anti-discrimination, anti-harassment, and anti-retaliation training during production (via PEOPLE). That said, his comment about not having taken s*xual harassment training was only made as a joke.

What Did Blake Lively Say About the Interaction With Justin Baldoni in the Bar in Her Complaint?

In her December 2024 complaint, Blake Lively’s lawyers recounted the interaction and claimed that Justin Baldoni “wanted to see” the onesie that she was sporting under the coat because it was allegedly “zipped low to reveal her lace bra.” As reported by PEOPLE, their claim said,

[Baldoni] wanted to see her ‘onesie’ under the coat because it was zipped low to reveal her lace bra. … He said, ‘I think you look sexy’ in a tone that made her feel ogled and exposed. With other female cast present, she said, ‘That’s not what I’m going for.’ He bristled and replied, ‘I’m sorry, hot.’ Deeply uncomfortable, Ms. Lively said, ‘Not that either.’ Mr. Baldoni responded sarcastically, ‘I guess I missed the HR meeting,’ and walked away.

The lawyers further continued in their complaint that “another woman on the production” allegedly “spoke” to Lively afterward “to offer empathy and also to reportedly “share her own similar experience” where Baldoni allegedly “[commented] about her in s*xual terms.”

Baldoni’s team, however, argued in their latest filing that the interaction was “unremarkable.” Per their claims about the matter:

Lively was not scantily clad, but dressed in an oversized fleece ‘onesie.’ Nor was this anything that might remotely approach flirtation — rather, both she and Baldoni were working at the time, surrounded by actors and crew. Baldoni’s expression was neutral and not ogling or suggestive. On top of that, Baldoni apologized if his remark was inappropriate, and Lively responded by saying ‘All good.’

Adding to this, in the countersuit that he filed against Lively, Baldoni’s lawyers also alleged that the actress “herself set the tone for personal discussions on set, including what language was acceptable.” They added that Lively, apparently, “had no issue using the word ‘sexy’ herself, but apparently took note both times Baldoni said the word in her presence.”

All this further leaves room for discussion and interpretation about which team is being more truthful with their statements, as their legal troubles are currently headed for a trial, which is scheduled for March 2026, as of this writing.

Did Blake Livelyʼs Fans Alter Justin Baldoniʼs Original Clip From the Bar?

As the debate continues about this newly surfaced evidence in Justin Baldoni’s legal troubles with Blake Lively, new claims from a fan have it that the clip featuring the actor joking about having missed the “s*xual harassment training” is actually “heavily modified.” Ooh, more twists and turns.

🚨Blake vs. Baldoni: Lively’s supporters have circulated an altered clip from a bar scene, claiming it contains “clear” audio of Justin joking missed sexual-harassment training. However, audio analysis indicates the clip was heavily modified. The false MSM headlines started… https://t.co/BZsJ0FJnEA pic.twitter.com/vZwDkCbclg

Per @PastNomad’s claims on X,

Lively’s supporters have circulated an altered clip from a bar scene, claiming it contains “clear” audio of Justin joking missed sexual-harassment training. However, audio analysis indicates the clip was heavily modified. The false MSM headlines started…

Additionally, a snippet comparing the audio analysis of the original court-released audio from Wayfarer Studios and the allegedly altered audio circulated online by Lively’s fans also shared a final report, which read:

Analysis of the audio waveform indicates alterations to the original recording that extend beyond standard noise-cancellation. The changes appear designed to make the phrase, ‘Sorry, I missed the s*xual harassment training’ align precisely with the moment Baldoni rolls his eyes. However, the editor did not fully fade or blend the added audio, resulting in a noticeable waveform at that exact moment. The synchronization between the audio spike and the eye-roll suggests that the modification is a dishonest PR effort.

With this being put out there as well, new debates have inevitably sparked among fans, who are trying to separate the truth from the false claims and reports. But even this audio analysis has not been officially confirmed or verified by a reliable source, so nothing can be said in anyone’s favor as of now. Guess the actual truth will only unfold with the trial.
