Colleen Hoover, the author of It Ends with Us, confessed to something that has shaken up the internet. The author revealed that she even needs therapy to cure her mental state, which directly relates to Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s legal drama.

In an interview with Elle Magazine (published November 20, 2025), the 45-year-old author confessed that,

It feels like a circus. When there are real people involved, with real feelings and emotions. This actually truly has impacted some of the actors’ careers in huge ways. And I just find it all around sad.

She further said,

When people ask what I do, I’m just like, ‘I’m a writer. Please don’t ask me what I wrote.’ The more time that passes, the easier everything gets for all of us. But it is sad, because I was very proud of that book. And I’m still proud of it, but less publicly so.

And lastly, Hoover was caught up, saying,

Maybe I need therapy, I don’t know.

Things have turned out in unimaginative ways. Although the fans seem to be divided in their reaction to this, it appears that one good stance can put a real end to it all.

Damn, sounds like the drama went off the rails. It's wild how some stories just spiral out of control like this. Who knew writing a book could lead to a circus?

Honestly I feel for her because watching your own work get dragged into celebrity beef must be exhausting

Colleen Hoover basically living the author nightmare: wrote a hit book, watched Hollywood turn it into a courtroom circus, now hiding the title like it’s a forbidden spell.

New Papers Reveal Rift Between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni

Newly released emails show Justin Baldoni feeling pressured to meet Lively’s creative demands. He even described himself as “waving the white flag,” as per the Daily Mail’s recent report.

The co-stars’ working relationship is revealed exquisitely, punctuated by Baldoni’s remark, “the last thing I want to do is kiss this woman.” Notably, this is not long after Lively files a lawsuit accusing him of it all.

The conflict escalated throughout 2024, with Lively seeking $161 million in damages and Baldoni countersuing for $400 million against the Hollywood couple.

Baldoni’s team argues that Lively asserted dominance over the film’s narrative. She also had sidelined Baldoni from marketing and credits, and triggered his decision to hire crisis PR for protection.

Time also revealed that Ryan Reynolds allegedly berated Baldoni, leaving him shaken enough to seek therapy. A lot has been happening and has already taken place.
