Landman Season 2 unfolds a new mystery and an adventure that awaits Billy Bob Thornton’s Tommy Norris. The Paramount+ hit is exploring a new oil field storyline set in West Texas. With Norris now becoming the president of M-Tex Oil, as season 1 bid farewell to Jon Hamm’s character, here are the actors who will play a deeper role in Landman Season 2.

1. Billy Bob Thornton, 70

The actor first captured the limelight in 1996’s Sling Blade, a drama outing that not only starred him but was actually written as well as directed by him.

In Landman, his character is shown to be the fixer for M-Tex Oil at first, who later becomes the president of the same oil company.
2. Demi Moore, 63
One of the most beautiful actresses to have ever steeped in the Hollywood film industry joins Landman as Cami Miller. The actress is 63 years old, and plays the wife–now widow–of the late industrialist Monty Miller. Moore is widely celebrated for her role in 1985’s St. Elmo’s Fire, 1986’s About Last Night…, and has even nabbed an Academy Award for her portrayal in the latest entry, The Substance.
Moore is set to reprise her role of Cami Miller, who is not only the widow of Monty Miller but also the top stakeholder in M-Tex. She will be seen taking more responsibility in the current season of Landman while also bringing in more trouble for Norris.
3. Ali Larter, 49
If you are a fan of zombie apocalypse movies, you will instantly recognise her from the Resident Evil movie franchise. And even at 49 years old, the actress is spreading her charm with the glorious character of Angela Norris.
In case you don’t know, she was also seen in the first two installments of Final Destination. She also gained recognition from the NBC’s hit series Heroes.
In Landman, Ali Larter is seen playing the character of Angela Norris, the former wife of Tommy Norris. She is flirty and a gold digger, trying to rekindle things with her now M-Tex head husband.
4. Sam Elliot, 81
Hailing from the classics of Hollywood is the newest cast member of Landman. If you recognise this gentleman, you are a true movie fanatic. For those unversed, Sam Elliot, 81 has previously done movies such as The Hulk, which starred Eric Bana; another similar superhero outing he was a part of is Ghost Rider, starring Nicolas Cage.
In Landman, Sam Elliot plays the character of Billy Bob Thornton’s Tommy Norris’ father T.L., we may see his backstory in the second episode of Landman season 2, episode 2, titled Sins of the Father.
5. Michelle Randolph, 28
For those who are a fan of Randolph’s Ainsley Norris, the daughter of Tommy and Angela, this might come as a shock to you, but Landman is not the first time Randolph has been a part of Taylor Sheridan’s western universe.
Previously, she was seen in Yellowstone prequel 1923, which went on to be her big break. In that series that ran from 2022 to 2025, Randolph played the character of Liz Starfford, the widow of Jack Dutton.
In Landman Season 2, she is set to have a central role. Interestingly, she will be seen on the big screen next in the horror outing Scream 7.
6. Jacob Lofland, 29
Another teen actor who has a great big-screen experience. Jacob Lofland has not only played a role in The Son but has also starred alongside Oscar-winning Joaquin Phoenix in 2024’s Joker: Folie à Deux. Besides this, the actor has also been a part of the Maze Runner movie franchise.
In Landman, Lofland plays the character of Cooper, the son of Tommy and Angela. He is again set to hold the central plot in Season 2 of the oil drama, now that he has started his own oil business. Following his initiative to enter the oil fields, his father is shown to worry about him.
7. Andy Garcia, 69
Boy oh boy, the cast is filled with big stars. Andy Garcia is another big name from the Hollywood film industry. For those unversed about the prowess of this star, he was seen in the highly acclaimed and ever-loved con movie franchise, Ocean’s Eleven. Besides being an actor, he is also a director as well as a producer. Garica was also seen in The Godfather: Part III.
In Landman, he plays the character of Gallino, the head of a cartel. In the first season of Landman, he made his entrance towards the finale.
8. Stefania Spampinato, 43
Stefania Spampinato is a Spanish actress and comes from another ever-loved series, the medical drama Grey’s Anatomy. Not only that, but she reprised her character in the spinoff Station 19, as well, which ran from 2020 to 2024.
In Landman Season 2, she will be seen playing the character of Gallino, and is a new addition to the cast besides Sam Elliot.
9. Paulina Chávez, 23
Paulina Chávez is one of the upcoming names in the industry. She was first seen in The Expanding Universe of Ashley Garcia on Netflix, as well as Fate: The Winx Saga, and also the Disney movie Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Road Trip.
