YouTuber Jack Doherty’s public stunt completely backfired when he met professional Uruguayan footballer Darwin Núñez. In the video clip below, Doherty was seen handcuffed to his girlfriend as part of a livestream challenge. When he saw the athlete taking pictures with a couple of fans, Doherty approached and boastfully said:
Who is this guy? Hey, let me get one, too. No, I’m kidding.
The infamous vlogger attempted to speak to Núñez, raising his hand and saying, “Excuse me, sir,” but he was only ignored as the athlete walked off the scene.
Doherty asked the livestream chat for the guy’s name, remarking, “Who is he? He has two watches on.” Later on, they found out he is a famous soccer player.

Doherty is known in the Internet world for his controversial pranks that sometimes got him and others into trouble. Starting his YouTube career in 2016, it has now grown into a massive channel with more than 15 million subscribers.
During livestreams, he performs stunts and pranks, and many of his mishaps have been caught on camera, resulting in his being banned from the Kick platform.
His encounter with Núñez certainly humbled him, and many fans praised the soccer star for simply ignoring the streamer. It is quite hard to tell from the video clip if Núñez actually heard Doherty’s arrogant remark, though his decision not to give the annoying vlogger the attention he wanted was absolutely satisfying for the audience.
Núñez previously played for Liverpool before moving to Al-Hilal this year.
Infamous Streamer Continues To Draw Flak, Now Arrested on Drug Charges
Over the years, Doherty has drawn flak for doing the most wildly controversial stunts in public, and recently, he has been arrested in Miami on drug charges, as per New York Post.
On November 15, the streamer was sent to the Miami-Dade County jail after he was found in possession of a controlled substance and marijuana, as well as resisting arrest. Doherty allegedly argued with the officials before he was scolded by an officer.
Hours before his arrest, the vlogger livestreamed on the platform Parti, showing footage of a yacht party.
