The Kardashians: Why Did Kris Jenner’s Birthday End Up in Police Showing Up?

By Chris Lopez 11/10/2025

Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday celebration at Jeff Bezos’ $165 million Beverly Hills mansion drew police twice on Saturday, November 8, 2025. Officers first responded to noise complaints after Bruno Mars performed a surprise set that echoed through the hills past 10 p.m., violating local ordinances. Police returned when they found large artificial hedges blocking the street without proper permits (via TMZ).

The James Bond-themed party continued with over 50 A-list guests celebrating the Kardashian matriarch, whose actual birthday was November 5.

The exclusive celebration at Bezos’ nine-acre estate brought together royalty, tech billionaires, and entertainment icons. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle arrived hand-in-hand, with Harry wearing a black tuxedo accented with a Remembrance Day poppy pin. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have grown closer to the Kardashian family since Meghan Markle sent Kris products from her lifestyle brand, As ever, in August 2025, including a crate of rosé wines that the reality star shared on Instagram (via People).

The party location reflected the close friendship between Lauren Sanchez and the Kardashian-Jenner family, who attended Sanchez’s lavish wedding to Bezos in Venice during the summer of 2025. Longtime Kardashian collaborator Mindy Weiss planned the event at the historic property (via Who), which Jack Warner built in the 1930s. The estate features a 13,600-square-foot mansion, several guesthouses, a pool, and a nine-hole golf course.

Officers photographed outside the mansion spoke with security personnel and issued warnings about noise levels. The unpermitted street decorations were removed as guests began leaving.

Video footage from X17online captured an ambulance arriving to transport a partygoer from the event, though details about the medical situation were not disclosed.

No Cameras Involved Despite The Kardashians Season 7 Currently Filming

The celebration went without TV cameras filming, despite the family’s hit Hulu reality show The Kardashians continuing production on its seventh season. “It was just all about celebrating Kris,” an insider told People, adding, “And it was everything you’d expect from Kris: over-the-top, glamorous and full of love from her family.” The birthday party will not appear in upcoming episodes.

Season 7 of The Kardashians premiered on October 31, 2025, with Episode 4 titled ‘A Tragedy in Reality TV’ scheduled to air on November 13, 2025. The upcoming episode will focus on Kim wrapping her first leading role, with scary new information threatening everything she’s built, plus Khloe and Kris shopping for a family home. The season continues to stream on Hulu with new episodes releasing weekly.

The decision to keep cameras away allowed the family to celebrate privately with their most famous friends. Kris Jenner‘s boyfriend, Corey Gamble, stayed by her side throughout the evening.
