Selena Gomez’s Rare Beauty cements its legacy as the most popular celebrity cosmetics brand this year.

Fresha revealed in a report shared to Cosmetics Business that the vegan and cruelty-free make-up brand ranked the highest in the beauty and wellness category, earning a staggering 9.48 score out of ten and beating famed competitors, such as Kylie Jenner’s Kylie Cosmetics, Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty, and Hailey Bieber’s Rhode.

Now estimated at $2.7 billion, as per Fortune Magazine, Rare Beauty’s profitability continues to showcase Gomez as a successful entrepreneur. Apart from her massive social media following, her advocacies and the company’s mission work well together in uplifting the community.

Selena Gomez’s Rare Beauty Is Not Just A Cosmetics Brand—It’s A Movement

True beauty lies within, and Gomez knows that confidence and kindness are a woman’s best armor. This is why Rare Beauty was created with a mission to create a safe space for everyone.

More than providing tools to enhance physical appearance, the brand stays true to its core: redefine beauty standards by promoting self-acceptance, mental health awareness, and uniqueness. Annabelle Taurua from Fresha told the outlet above:

Gomez hosted her third annual Rare Impact Fund benefit, which raised more than $600,000 for youth mental health services, all of which has generated positive press and supports the brand’s mission statement of ‘the beauty of imperfections’.

It’s not a surprise anymore why Rare Beauty is embraced by many fans, specifically the Gen Zs and millennials. The purpose-driven company never looks into competition; even Gomez once emphasized the importance of not looking at the logistics and instead focusing on the community they have built.

Selena Gomez Shares Future Plans For Her Brand After Hitting Major Milestone

With the success of her beauty empire, one has to wonder what Gomez’s next move will be. While speaking with WWD, the star revealed:

I’m so grateful that I’m in this place in my life where, you know, things could have looked differently, and the future for Rare for me is just the fact that we want to continue to create products. There’s still so much more room, there’s still so much more places we could go.

Fans can expect the founder to continue to be a part of the beauty industry. Gomez recently expanded Rare Beauty’s catalogue with the introduction of its first fragrance. As part of its campaign for inclusivity, the fragrance bottle was packaged with a comfortable dispenser for people with limited dexterity.
