P Diddy has been allegedly bragging to his fellow inmates about how President Donald Trump can still get him out soon. This piece of information comes after Trump earlier confirmed that he received Diddy’s request for a pardon. According to RadarOnline‘s source, Diddy has been telling inmates that Trump “owes him one.”
It has led to speculations that Diddy may have compromising material on Trump. According to the source, Diddy allegedly told his fellow inmates that the deal had already been done. The source claimed:
Diddy’s been telling anyone who’ll listen that Trump’s got his back. He’s saying the deal’s already done – that the paperwork is just a matter of timing. People in here are starting to ask what kind of leverage he could possibly have over a man like Trump.
Another source shared that Diddy allegedly has evidence about Trump’s past, which he is using to get out of prison. The source shared that it was the reason why Trump hasn’t fully ruled out Diddy’s pardon yet. The source shared:
The talk inside is that Diddy knows something about Trump’s past, and that’s why he’s so confident he will step in and grant him early release. Whether it’s true or not, that’s what’s spreading. The fact that Trump hasn’t ruled it out publicly only fuels it more.
Diddy was found guilty of two counts of transportation for the purpose of pr*stitut*on. He was sentenced to 4 years and 2 months in prison, a $500,000 fine, and five years of supervised release after his jail time. His attorneys have officially filed the paperwork for his appeal against his 50-month sentence (via Billboard).
A high-ranking White House official allegedly told TMZ that Trump is “vacillating” on commuting Diddy’s sentence. The source claimed that Trump would “do what he wants” and added that he could set the music mogul free this week. Interestingly, Trump commuted the sentence of former Congressman George Santos, who was sentenced to 87 months in prison after pleading guilty to identity theft and wire fraud.
White House Denied Claims That P Diddy Had Leverage on President Donald Trump

According to RadarOnline, White officials responded to the rumors and denied the claims that Trump would commute Diddy’s sentence. The official shared, “We would’ve gladly explained had they reached out before running their fake news. The President, not anonymous sources, is the final decider on pardons and commutations.”
Despite this confirmation from Trump, Diddy’s associate shared with the outlet that he remained optimistic about a pardon. The associate told Radar, “He still thinks Trump will come through. Diddy’s saying it’s all politics and that the president wants to be seen as a man of redemption – especially for people like him who built their success from nothing.”
Trump has already granted clemency to 1,600 people this term. If Trump decided to pardon Diddy, it would not be taken lightly by anyone in Washington. Meanwhile, Diddy earlier requested to serve his sentence at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey (via TMZ). His lawyers are hopeful about the appeal.
Marc Agnifilo, Diddy’s defense attorney, shared outside the court during his sentencing that they had a “strong basis to appeal” (via LiveNOW/YouTube). He shared that the jury found out that there was no coercion, but the judge brought it up numerous times.
He shared, “The jury reached a verdict on coercion and found there was not coercion and I think the judge said coercion today as a basis for his sentence at least a dozen times.” He shared that it was “unconstitutional.” Agnifilo shared that he thinks the jury’s verdict “should mean more,” for which reason they are planning to appeal.
Donald Trump’s Earlier Comment on Pardoning P Diddy

On October 6, President Donald Trump shared that P Diddy had reached out to him to ask for a pardon. He shared with reporters in the Oval Office, “A lot of people have asked me for pardons. I call him Puff Daddy, [he] has asked me for a pardon” (via ABC News).
Earlier, Deadline reported that the White House was seriously considering pardoning Diddy. Interestingly, Diddy and Trump have a friendship that goes way back. Trump made an appearance at Diddy’s 29th birthday party in 1998. Trump publicly called Diddy “legendary” at the time. However, their relationship took a hit in recent years.
Diddy was vocal about removing Trump from the presidency in 2020 and publicly endorsed Joe Biden. He also expressed his anger at Trump’s policies affecting the marginalized community. Trump hasn’t forgotten Diddy’s betrayal when he recently addressed his conviction and potential pardon. He told Newsmax (via The Guardian):
I was very friendly with him, I got along with him great and he seemed like a nice guy. I didn’t know him well. But when I ran for office, he was very hostile.
Trump shared that Diddy’s hostile attitude towards him made pardoning Diddy “more difficult to do.” He also shared that Diddy was “sort of half innocent”, adding that “it wasn’t as good as a victory.”
