Kelsey Grammer has become a father again at the age of 70. The actor, celebrated for his time playing the titular character on Frasier, welcomed his eighth child. The news was revealed on October 27, 2025. Interestingly, the youngest one is his fourth kid with his present wife, Kayte Walsh.
The Beast actor from X-Men: The Last Stand revealed the big news on the recent episode of Pod Meets World, a podcast hosted by Will Friedle, Danielle Fishel, and Rider Strong (via PEOPLE). This was during Grammer’s conversation about his memoir, Karen: A Brother Remembers. Shedding light on the book, the actor mentioned that his family “just had our fourth one, so it just became eight kids,” while also revealing the name of the child.

Grammer tied the knot with his current wife, Walsh, back in 2011. The couple now shares four children together. Meanwhile, the actor got married to his first wife, Doreen Alderman, in 1982, and the couple had one child.
Later in 1997, he tied the knot with Camille Grammer. During their years together, the couple welcomed two kids. He also has a child with his then-girlfriend, Barrie Buckner. The actor, who was replaced by Nicholas Hoult as Beast, was also married to Leigh-Anne Csuhany, but had no kids with her, annuling the marriage within a year.

Born on October 9, 1983, Spencer is the first child of Grammer, whom he welcomed with his first wife, Alderman. Spencer, who is the only child the couple shared together, made her onscreen debut at the age of 9.

Greer Grammer was born on February 15, 1992. She is the second child of Grammer, whom he welcomed with his then-girlfriend Buckner. Kandace “Greer” Grammer, who simply goes by her middle name, shares a deep bond with the actor. Back in 2021, she gave a tribute to Grammer on Instagram.
Greer posted a red carpet picture of the father-daughter duo, as well as a picture of her younger self, wishing Grammer a Happy Father’s Day. She has joined the family, becoming a part of the entertainment industry. It was back in 2010 when she first made her acting debut in iCarly.

The third daughter of Kelsey Grammer is Mason Olivia Grammer. The star from Boss welcomed Mason with his third wife, Camille, on October 24, 2001. However, the couple soon went their separate ways, about which Mason spoke in an interview with Genlux Magazine.
It was the hardest time of my life. I changed a lot after that. I had to grow up faster because I had a lot more responsibilities.
At the age of 15, she walked on the runway at New York Fashion Week.

On July 13, 2012, Grammer welcomed a baby girl, Faith Evangeline Elisa Grammer. This was a child with Walsh. According to PEOPLE, the couple was expecting twins. However, they lost their boy shortly after their announcement.
Per the outlet, the couple announced Faith’s birth, stating,
A glorious birth with a lingering sadness is ours today. We choose to celebrate the life that has been given us. We proudly introduce our Faith to the world today looking forward to the days ahead and the children yet to come.
However, at the age of 2, Faith became an elder sister, as the couple welcomed a baby girl.
Grammer has even named Faith American Brewery in upstate New York after his daughter.
6. Kelsey Gabriel Elias Grammer
It was on July 22, 2014, that Grammer and Walsh became proud parents of Kelsey Gabriel Elias Grammer, a boy. The actor, who has shared screen with Patrick Stewart, mentioned in a joint statement with his wife (via PEOPLE):
We are blessed and excited to have this lovely young man join our family — he is magnificent.
However, they still had plans to welcome a few more members into the family.
7. Auden James Grammer
After Kelsey, the actor who is reprising his role of Beast in Avengers: Doomsday, and his wife welcomed Auden “James” Ellis Grammer on November 14, 2016. This was the seventh child of Grammer. Per the Hollywood star, his son’s name
Was chosen to honor the great poet W.H. Auden, and James is after another great poet and singer James Taylor — two of our favorites.
Shedding light on the boy’s name, Grammer also stated to PEOPLE that “Ellis” happens to be Auden’s maternal great-grandfather’s name. “We wanted to give the name a second chance,” the couple added.
8. Christopher Grammer
Christopher Grammer is the youngest child of Kelsey Grammer. He was born this month, according to a statement from the Like Father actor. Grammer shares his eighth child with Kayte Walsh, and is also their fourth child together.
