DMM has officially announced a new live-action adaptation of Gō Nagai’s Cutie Honey franchise, titled Cute Honey Beloved Enemy. The upcoming series will span 15 episodes and feature rising Japanese influencer-turned-actress Natsuki Abe in the lead role.
Originally created by Professor Kisaragi, Cutie Honey is an android girl who embarks on a quest for vengeance after her creator is killed by a mysterious organization seeking the powerful device hidden within her.
The beloved manga has inspired numerous adaptations over the years, including animated series, home video releases, a live-action film, and a previous television drama.
