Nicole Kidman is moving on, and there’s nothing a heartbroken Keith Urban can do about it. If you have been following the Urban-Kidman divorce drama since the beginning, you probably heard sources talking about how devastated the Babygirl actress has been. Now, though, it looks like the tables have turned.
According to a source who confided in Rob Shuter, Urban is struggling in his personal life. Apparently, “He’s heartbroken. He knows he’s losing more than a marriage – he’s losing time with his girls.”
For those who don’t know, the divorce settlement names Kidman as Sunday and Faith’s primary parent, giving her 306 days of the year with her daughter. Urban, on the other hand, only gets 59. He will have the girls on alternate weekends from Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, 6:00 p.m., and every Father’s Day and alternate Thanksgivings.
The source added that the girls have decided where their loyalty lies, and it’s not with Urban: “They love their dad, but Nicole’s been the constant. She’s been there for every school event, every bedtime. Keith’s been touring, filming — gone…Nicole has the daughters emotionally and physically. The loyalty lines are drawn — and they’re standing with Mom.”
How Nicole Kidman Is Healing From Her Divorce
While Keith Urban deals with the loss, Nicole Kidman is taking matters into her own hands, turning her professional and personal lives around. Her calm presence holds her home together, helping herself and her daughters remain grounded through this challenging period.
The source added, “The girls have seen who held it all together. They feel safest with Nicole.” Despite the sudden divorce, Kidman refuses to speak ill of her ex-husband, which is apparently also a condition in the divorce settlement.
Instead of being bitter about the situation, Kidman is putting her mind to healing. The insider continued, “She’s turning their home into a sanctuary. There’s yoga, family dinners – all about healing.” Kidman also prioritizes her work, having just walked the runway at Vogue World: Hollywood.
On the other hand, it’s not like Kidman hasn’t thought about getting even with Urban, reportedly. According to Radar Online, the actress is planning on entering her “Revenge romance era” with none other than her ex-fiancé, Lenny Kravitz. As far as the source is concerned, “the spark is still there.“
Kidman is currently working with Kravitz’s daughter, Zoë Kravitz, on their show, Big Little Lies.
Another source told the National Enquirer, “Nicole’s friends are telling her that the best thing she can do for herself is to start having fun again and Lenny seems like the perfect person to help her do that.”
Apparently, their “red-hot chemistry” hasn’t fizzled out even after all these years, and as per the source, they may have a shot at something long-term this time.
Would Nicole Kidman Ever Take Keith Urban Back?
There is a lot of history between Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman. They had been together for two decades, created life together, and have unending memories with each other. So, is there any possibility that Kidman and Urban could work this out in the future?
Well, as per the Daily Mail, “She would get back with him in a heartbeat.” However, another source added:
There was a lot of love between the two, and they might not divorce, but there is a world that they both live where neither of them are in it. Keith and Nicole have been together for decades, and there is a world [in] which they can reconcile, but the way their pairing is now, it is not a couple.
No one can say with certainty if Urban and Kidman’s lines will cross in the future. Both seem to be doing their own thing right now, and only time will tell if this is their end.
