The twelve-year-old recently took to social media to show off her new look, complete with face tattoos, grills over her teeth, and a septum ring. Needless to say, people were not pleased.

Amid the controversy, Kanye’s old video has resurfaced on the Internet, in which he once openly spoke about his daughter’s social media habits. He stated,
I’m not allowing my daughter to be used by TikTok, to be used by Disney. I have a say so…I’m happy that you guys got to see just a small piece of what I dealt with.

The reason why North’s new look is catching attention for all the wrong reasons is that she is only twelve years old, and people believe that she’s acting and looking far beyond her age.

Kim Kardashian is no stranger to having her parenting style questioned by critics. Now, North’s new look is taking the criticism to a whole new level as netizens are coming for Kardashian for not paying enough attention to her daughter.

While it’s understandable why some people would have such a harsh reaction to North’s appearance, it needs to be pointed out that none of it is real. From the tattoos to the piercings, North was simply playing dress up. She wrote on her TikTok, “Fake piercings and fake tatts 4 life.“
Apparently, North and her friends had dressed up in similar styles to attend a concert, nothing more.
What Kim Kardashian Said to Defend Her Daughter
Kim Kardashian has previously defended her daughter and her right to have full creative freedom. During her appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast, the mother of four opened up about North, calling her a “sweet” girl who isn’t nearly as out of hand as people may believe.
Kardashian stated, “[North is] such a good girl and such a sweet girl.” She went on to add that her daughter listens to her where it truly matters, but when it comes to trivial things like coloring her hair, KimK just lets her do her own thing. She said,
She does listen to me, but in other areas, I’m like, ‘Babe, if you want blue hair, it is what it is.’ You know, it makes her so happy. I would never take that creativity away from her. I just think anyone that’s raising kids, especially four kids by myself, I’m doing the best that I can.
At the end, the Internet may have jumped the gun on North’s edgy new look. What many assumed to be bad parenting turned out to be nothing more than a bunch of young girls having a bit of creative fun.
