Blake Lively‘s sexual harassment lawsuit against her It Ends With Us co-star and director Justin Baldoni has grabbed headlines since December 2024. But her $400 million lawsuit now pales in comparison to the one that K-pop artist Park Bom just filed against YG Entertainment’s founder.
In an Instagram post uploaded on October 22, 2025, the singer sued the company for an extravagant sum of money, citing financial fraud and embezzlement. Though the post was quickly taken down, and her social media account was deleted in the aftermath, fans were quick to note the behind-the-scenes drama that came as a shock and a surprise to all parties involved.
Park Bom’s Lawsuit Against YG Entertainment Explained

Park Bom, a former member of the girl group band 2NE1, has issued a formal complaint, dated and stamped on October 19, 2025, against YG Entertainment’s founder and executive producer, Yang Hyun-suk, for fraud and embezzlement.
Though the full details of her lawsuit haven’t been disclosed yet, the singer stated that the company failed to pay her due profits that she rightfully earned through her work.
The letter stated that Park Bom is owed “1002003004006007001000034 ‘64272e trillion won of money” that she “earned through music, performances, television appearances, advertisements, events, songwriting and composing.” [Korea JoongAng Daily] The letter also claims:
The plaintiff suffered from immense damages, both mental and economic, and the act is classified as apparent fraud.
The amount cited by her approximately equates to 4.5 quadrillion USD, an elephantine amount compared to the Blake Lively lawsuit that has had Hollywood in a bind since December 2024.
Park Bom’s Agency Responds to Singer’s Shocking Lawsuit

Fans are currently citing concerns for Park Bom’s mental health, considering the unofficial nature of her complaint letter. The singer’s agency, D-Nation Entertainment, was itself unaware of her alleged lawsuit until she took action against YG Entertainment.
On October 22, the agency issued a statement to AllKPop regarding the same:
Park Bom is beyond our control as well. We are currently looking into the details of her lawsuit against Yang Hyun Suk.
This comes on the heels of her previous withdrawal from future events and activities with 2NE1, citing mental health concerns. As of now, there is no confirmation on whether Park Bom’s letter of complaint has been issued in an official capacity or not.
