Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce appear to have decided on their wedding date and venue, per the latest updates, and the dream event might not take place too far away from home. Apparently, she just might tie the knot next year on June 13 at an exclusive venue in Rhode Island.
Per the Daily Mail reports, rumors have it that a future bride and groom who booked an exclusive venue in Rhode Island have been asked to move their wedding to another date by a mystery third party. In exchange for taking their date and venue, this unidentified third party is reportedly willing to pay for their entire wedding, which might likely cost upwards of $150,000, as well as funding a honeymoon to an exotic destination.
The venue, as per the claims, is the exclusive 70-room mansion Breakers in Newport, which was completed in 1895 by Cornelius Vanderbilt II. The sprawling mansion, which is officially referred to as a ‘cottage’ despite its magnificent size, is worth around $500 million. Plus, it is 40 miles from the Bad Blood singer’s eight-bedroom holiday home, High Watch in Westerly.
Surprisingly enough, these reports have made their way to Grace O’Neill and Isabelle Truman’s After Work Drinks podcast as well, on which Truman reportedly shared (via Marie Claire),
We got a DM from a girlie. I don’t know how public this knowledge is… but she sent a screenshot of a phone that said: ‘One of my friend’s friends is getting married at (bleeped) in Rhode Island on June 13, 2026. The venue called her and said someone is willing to buy you out of your date. She said no, I don’t want to switch my date.
They called her back and said that (the couple) are willing to pay for their whole wedding and honeymoon to have this date. So they said yes. They think it might be Taylor Swift. June 13 is the only 13th that falls on a Saturday, and it’s near Taylor’s house in Rhode Island. Thirteen is Taylor’s lucky number.’
Some others, meanwhile, insist that the Breakers is not the destination Swift covets, but rather, the Ocean House Hotel (via Daily Mail). This second venue is actually just a few yards from her luxurious mansion. But while the destination of her wedding remains to be officially confirmed, Taylor Swift’s reported nuptial date might be tied to her love for numerology, per speculation.
Links Between Taylor Swift’s Alleged Wedding Date and Her Love for Numerology

While this speculation about the wedding venue hasn’t received any official confirmation, as of this writing, the rumors about her dream nuptials taking place on the 13th seem likely to be more realistic. This is because of Taylor Swift’s love for numerology and her often-talked-about fascination with “math stuff,” “dates,” and basically numbers, per the Daily Mail.
As some eagle-eyed fans have noticed, she and Travis Kelce announced their engagement on August 26 – exactly 13 days after her August 13 appearance on his New Heights podcast.
Even on the podcast, Kelce pointed out that his football jersey number, 87, perfectly complements hers, saying, “I’m 87 and she’s 13 – and that’s 100.” Swift laughed in response, calling it “part of the numerology of why we’re dating.” And that’s not all.
Over the years, the Look What You Made Me Do singer has long linked the number to her success. This ranges from her first album going gold within 13 weeks to the fact that her first No. 1 song has a 13-second intro as well.
In fact, she has even reportedly been seated in the 13th row at the award shows where she has won, all serving as proof that 13 might as well be the billionaire singer’s lucky number – lucky enough for her to, perhaps, even schedule her wedding on the same date.
Officials Are Denying Such Rumors and Speculations About Taylor Swift’s Wedding

Though all these reports provide a significant update on how, where, and when Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s big day might unfold, the bad news is that officials are denying such rumors and speculations about the same, per additional reports from the Daily Mail.
For one, spokesperson Gary Ruff for the Preservation Society of Newport County, which owns Breakers, made it clear that “Taylor Swift is not getting married at the Breakers,” or any other property that the society runs.
The same sentiment was echoed by a spokesperson for the Ocean House Hotel as well, who reportedly said,
The team at Ocean House is committed to offering each of our brides, grooms, their families, and friends an experience of a lifetime when hosting a wedding at our resort. When clients and their families choose Ocean House as their wedding venue, it is an agreement and commitment between our team and that family. Ocean House would not and is not allowing another party or entity to buy a wedding group out of a contracted wedding date.
Adding to this list of people pushing back on the rumor, there’s also celebrity news handle @deuxmoi on Instagram, which said that there was “no chance” these reports were true. The post said,
There would be such iron-clad NDAs in place. Taylor allegedly makes servers at the restaurant sign NDAs. Think this is an urban legend. I don’t know how it started. I don’t know if it’s a red herring or if her team started it to see if there’s a leak. There’s no chance it could be true, in my opinion.
Well, frankly enough, that does make sense, and is enough to clap back on the possibility of all these rumors and speculations about Taylor Swift’s wedding being true. At the same time, the likelihood of these reports being true is significant too, especially when it comes to the alleged date the singer is being reported to have planned for her nuptials.

Either way, our piece of advice would be for fans to be cautious while looking at such reports, and take everything with a pinch of salt. Who knows, things just might end up a lot differently, or maybe even a lot similarly, for all we know.
