Carmen kicked things off for Hilaria and Alec, arriving just over a year after their wedding. As the oldest of seven, she’s basically the unofficial assistant parent at this point. And honestly? She’s crushing it. Carmen has already co-authored a skincare book with her mom called Glowing Up: Recipes to Rock Your Natural Beauty, which dropped in April 2025. Talk about an overachiever!

2. Rafael Thomas Baldwin
Born: June 17, 2015 | Current Age: 10 years old
Rafael’s entrance into the world was nothing short of dramatic. Hilaria went through 23 hours of labor (yes, you read that right), and Rafa arrived a month early, coming out blue with breathing difficulties. He spent his first days in the NICU, where nurses carefully monitored him in an incubator. It was a scary time for the family, but Rafael pulled through like the fighter he is.
On his eighth birthday, Hilaria got really emotional sharing his birth story on social media, giving major props to the NICU nurses who helped them through it.
Today, Rafael is a healthy, thriving 10-year-old who apparently once made a first-grade pledge to stop swearing. (We’re all rooting for you, Rafa!) His mom shared that adorable moment on Instagram, and honestly, it’s the kind of wholesome content we need more of. Rafael’s story reminds us how precious and unpredictable life can be.
3. Leonardo Ángel Charles Baldwin
Born: September 12, 2016 | Current Age: 9 years old
Meet Leonardo, or “Leo” or “Leoncito” as his dad lovingly calls him. According to Hilaria, Leo is literally “the sweetest soul” who fills their home with positivity and laughter (via Instagram). If you’ve ever wondered what pure joy looks like, it’s probably this kid.
Here’s something cute: besides having his mom’s eye shape, Leo is a mini Alec Baldwin. Hilaria has posted about how much he resembles his famous dad, and the internet agrees. Leo is also his mom’s self-proclaimed “kitty buddy,” which is just adorable.
At nine years old, he’s known for his warm, loving personality and apparently gives the best hugs. Leo seems to be the calming presence everyone needs in a house full of chaos (and let’s be real, seven kids equals maximum chaos). He’s proof that sometimes the middle children are actually the most chill ones in the family!
4. Romeo Alejandro David Baldwin
Born: May 17, 2018 | Current Age: 7 years old
Romeo almost had a completely different name! Hilaria and Alec were set on calling him Diego, but just days before his birth, Hilaria had a gut feeling that wasn’t right. They waited two whole days after he was born to finally settle on Romeo. And honestly? Romeo suits him perfectly.
Fun fact: one reason they avoided Diego was to prevent naming all their sons after Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. With Leonardo and Rafael already in the mix, Hilaria joked that
Michelangelo and Donatello will not be coming out of me.
Crisis averted! Romeo is special for another reason: he’s the only Baldwin kid who inherited his mom’s stunning blue eyes. He’s into soccer, loves creating art, and apparently does “random funny dances” that sound absolutely hilarious. Oh, and he’s still working on that whole eating-vegetables thing. Same, Romeo. Same.
5. Eduardo “Edu” Pao Lucas Baldwin
Born: September 8, 2020 | Current Age: 5 years old
Eduardo’s arrival was extra special for the Baldwin family. After Hilaria suffered two heartbreaking miscarriages in 2019, Edu became their rainbow baby: a beautiful symbol of hope after loss. Hilaria was incredibly open about those miscarriages, sharing with her followers via Instagram:
We are very sad to share that today we learned that our baby passed away at 4 months.
But Eduardo brought healing and joy back into their lives. His birth represented a new chapter for the family, one filled with gratitude and renewed hope. At five years old, Edu is constantly featured in adorable sibling photos, especially with his sister María Lucía, who’s super close in age.
Hilaria often shares sweet moments of them bonding together, and it’s clear that Edu has a special place in everyone’s hearts. Rainbow babies hold such profound meaning for families who’ve experienced loss, and Edu is a daily reminder of resilience and love.
6. María Lucía Victoria Baldwin
Born: February 25, 2021 (via surrogate) | Current Age: 4 years old
María Lucía (or “Lucía” or “Marilu”) joined the family just six months after Eduardo, and here’s the thing: she was born via surrogate. This made Carmen’s wish for a baby sister finally come true! Hilaria faced some criticism for using a surrogate, but she shut that down real quick on her Witches Anonymous podcast in 2022.
I don’t have a difference between my daughter that was born via surrogacy and my six other children that I carried,
She said firmly.
There’s no difference.
Period. End of story. At four years old, María Lucía is thriving and constantly appears in family photos with her brother Eduardo. The two are basically twins at this point given their close ages.
Hilaria’s openness about surrogacy has helped normalize different paths to parenthood, and we love seeing it. María Lucía is just as much a Baldwin as her siblings, and the family bond is obvious in every photo.
7. Ilaria Catalina Irena Baldwin
Born: September 22, 2022 | Current Age: 3 years old
And here’s the baby! Ilaria completed the Baldwin seven, and when she arrived, Hilaria posted on Instagram:
She’s here! We are so excited to introduce you to our tiny dream come true.
Her older siblings spent the day bonding with her and welcoming her home, which sounds absolutely precious. Get this: Ilaria’s first sentence was
I want dada.

Baldwin family, which is honestly impressive for a three-year-old. In a 2023 interview with Romper, Hilaria admitted that Ilaria is
probably, most definitely, almost completely
their last baby (via Romper). But she’s keeping her maternity clothes “just in case,” so who knows? Never say never, right? For now, though, Ilaria holds the title of the baby, and she’s milking it for all it’s worth!
Living Large: The Baldwin Family Today
So what’s it actually like raising seven kids under 12? According to Hilaria, it’s controlled chaos (emphasis on chaos). She told Romper that she could still micromanage everything with two kids, but once they hit three? Game over.
Once I got to three, I just released and was like, ‘OK, it’s going to be chaos. We are outnumbered. You’ve got to let it go.’
Honestly, that’s probably the healthiest attitude when you’re outnumbered almost four to one. Alec, despite being in his late 60s, has fully embraced dad life again. He once joked on Late Night with Seth Meyers about having
four kids in 4½ years,
and while he’s mentioned wanting more, Hilaria seems pretty content with their lucky number seven.
